South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That lunar sphere hung full within the night sky, wholly coaxing to that caged panther within the man's soul. For the past few months, Tetradore had been cooped up within the windowless room in the far back corner of Red On the Water. His existence had been a closely guarded secret and, in turn, he'd spent more of his time in that caramel flesh staring at blank white wash walls then he cared to admit. Waiting for even his body to regain that stamina prior to his death was a particularly dull process, and now, now it was finally time to move beyond that confinement and out into the world. He wanted to stretch his legs, he wanted to run, he wanted to shift. Hell, the panther even found himself desiring that hunt. He needed to afford himself some exercise prior to his inevitable run-in with that ivory creature who had brought about his demise, at least, that was the excuse he told himself when he pulled those clothes off his figure that evening, his skin nearly quivering in anticipation of what he was allowing himself to get away with. He had to be careful - after all, his own pack often roamed those forests and Tetradore was not quite ready to alert them yet to his return to glory.

It took but mere moments before he shed that mortal skin in favor for that long, lanky feline. Shifting used to be easier, his muscles and bones still aching from the newness of their own existence. Still, the panther shook off the sweat from his frame, his own mind calling with ease to those darkened woods - after all, he needed time to get comfortable with his abilities once again, what better way than to utilize them? Those shadows of his chased about his feet in a nearly childish excitement before his own obsidian form was enveloped by them, the feline simply disappeared from that stale room and out into the cool open air of winter. That stark change in temperature was enough to make a shudder run down his spine. God, he'd forgotten about the damn weather. Winter was his least favorite season. His species was not made for the cold. Then again, his ethnic background hardly was either. Still, he supposed it was worth putting up with simply for the chance to enjoy himself for just a little bit.

His large paws loped with ease through the forest, crunching the snow beneath him ever so softly as he moved through those shadows that camouflaged his ebony figure with such ease. His ears swiveled upon his skull, the creature clearly searching for some source of entertainment, though what it was he was attempting to find, even he was entirely unaware. Those nearly glowing emerald eyes watched with disinterest as those squirrels and smaller prey skittered over head. He heard the movement of several young rabbits underfoot and yet, they hardly produced even a flicker of interest in the predatory jungle cat. Rather, it was the outline of a doe that finally saw the man pause in his steps. His body lowered towards the ground, his tail lashing behind him as he sought the shelter of a nearby tree trunk to hide in the wake of. The man watched her as her head rose ever so abruptly, his ears flickering at the same time as hers in an effort to pick up what had startled her and yet, even he wasn't prepared for the loud SNAP to his right, the simple sound send his prey scurrying. He considered chasing after her, his powerful hind legs could surely catch up to her and yet, it was the flurry of growls and whines and yelps that followed in the wake of such a sound that caused him to falter.

Tetradore knew what that frenzied thrashing meant. Someone had gotten caught. It was a wolf, by the sound of it and though he despised revealing himself to any others of his kind, the sheer possibility that it might be Raven saw the feline vault upwards, his claws digging into the tree trunk as he made his way as unnoticed as possible towards the origin of that feral fury. Tetradore paused at that small clearing he found himself hanging over, those emerald eyes all too intently watched the wolf below him with vague inquisitiveness. It was clear that it wasn't the wolf he feared it to be. In fact, he was rather certain she was not from this part of town. She hardly smelled of that metropolis that he'd left behind him. She was an outsider and that made him all the more curious and cautious at the exact same moment. For a moment, his tail lashed with indecision, contemplating his ability to simply leave her to her own devices and yet - it seemed as if the pair were effectively alone. No other being came to her aid, at least none he could hear or smell...yet. The cat was hardly willing to give up his vantage point until his was certain, however, his voice instead reaching out to her mind to utter an entirely blatant observation - one he was sure she was well aware of. "Someone looks stuck." Whether or not he intended to help her, however, was another matter entirely.
