The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Azrael
Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread
That next pillar of ice feel easily to that slice of his light-made sword, sending those shards flying as the Hunter progressed further into that veritable obstacle course. He was impressed, he supposed, with the sheer amount of ice his girlfriend was capable of creating by way of protecting, those frozen particles slicing from the earth like slippery knives to keep those attackers at bay and yet- by that same token, they were so keeping him at bay in turn. Well, they were trying, his own affinity allowing him to steadily slice his way through far more efficiently than any human and yet he made no effort to have her drop those frozen shields either. For now they were keeping her safe. The chance one of these men might somehow reach her before him entirely possible. Raven, so far, acting as an entirely decent distraction. The majority of the men seeming to have decided the wolf might be overcome if enough of them assaulted her. His own form so far out on that ice that few were daring to attempt to engage him upon it. Especially not when his own arsenal allowed for both close up and ranged assaults. The sound of snarls and snapping teeth saw his head jerk briefly back to the wolf as her telekinesis grasped the man he had moments ago thrown upward, watching as he flew into a wall with a sickening thud. Azrael so had a habit of leaving his human victims alive (even if unconscious) that Hunter within him almost designed to spare the human lives he often defended even if he held little pity or remorse for them and their constant stupidity. Raven however, hardly seemed as forgiving. The wolf content to act as a canine assault tank. Azrael doing little to stop her. For now his own goal remained singular.
A simple burst of speed saw the Hunter leap upward and onto one icy peak, that sword in his hand reshaping once more into a bow now, several light arrows fired with that same unreal speed back towards his canine companion, exploding on impact as they struck several of those men and sent them crumpling to the earth. The Hunter at least content to assure Raven had fair enough odds, the man leaving the wolf to continue distracting the majority of those men as Azrael finally reached the centre of that icicle maze. His breath rose like smoke in front of him, the sheer chill of those pillars biting at his flesh. God he should have worn a heavier jacket. Then again- he should have damn well been in bed. One hand reached forward, resting on the side of that ice, that light summoned too it now until heat begun to radiate from it, melting that ice rapidly. After all, he hardly knew exactly where Sera was sitting, swinging his sword might well see his strike his girlfriend by against. Sword-based injuries hardly his plan for the night. That ice at last falling away enough to allow him to see the raven-haired woman within, his features softening at even the sight of her. She was alive and entirely uninjured, at least beyond those bindings that held her. Azrael aware of just how worried he truly had been even if he'd refused to show it until now. God he'd forgotten these....emotions and how potent they could be.
His lips parted, those words upon them, when that sharp bark from Raven drew his attention- the Hunter glancing upward to follow her gaze only to spy that now flying Fae several feet above him. God it was always something! Why did they always have fucking wings? Weres had always been his least favourite among the supernaturals and yet Fae were quickly becoming a close second. Cunning little bastards they were. Azrael entirely inclined to admit that bloodlust in a Were seemed to come from being an animal, in a vampire it came from a desperate need to eat- but in a Fae? Truly the man had come to the decision that they, of all species, held the capacity to be the cruellest when the mood should strike them. After all, even vampires made other vampires more kindly then Fae created other Fae. Fragile though there bodies might be he'd never yet met a Fae that had gone down easily, nor one that didn't hold that capacity for murder somewhere within them. His golden eyes narrowed upon this one, that Fae man meeting his own gaze then, Azrael barely having time to react before that Fae flung something from his hand- that laser beam rocketing towards him now affording the Hunter truly little choice. Dodging it would see it collide entirely with were Sera was, Azrael hardly willing to test whether or not her ice would withstand the impact of it, his own sword hurriedly dropped and shifted again into a wall of light.
"Sera, duck down!"
He'd never tested his own light shields against lasers made off.....whatever unholy sort of energy it was made from. God this was going to hurt if it didn't work. The impact of that laser against that light shield echoed throughout the room, the Hunter thrown backwards into that ice by the force of it and the explosion that followed, shards of light dissipating all around him and yet that laser had vanished too. The affinities, it seemed, equally matched in this. The Fae appearing all the more agitated, Azrael forcing that breath back into his lungs from where he'd collided with that ice. This Fae was pissing him right off. That ball of light was summoned readily to his own hand, Azrael hurling it at the Fae only to see him dodge it mid-air, that laser this time fired at Raven- Azrael hoping she had the sense to dodge it too before another of his affinities reached out. That advantage of flight not one he was willing to allow the man to have any longer, gravity gripping him now, sending him catapulting back to the earth with enough force to break every bone in his goddamn body. If that hadn't killed him then Raven surely would, Azrael pausing to make sure the Fae wasn't getting up any time soon (if at all) before turning his attention at last back to that ice. He reached easily to melt down that last icy wall, Azrael crouching down then to peer into that icy space before shifting forward.
"Hey, Babe."
Those words were entirely soft, far more gentle then anything that had surely ever left his lips before and yet finally having her in his arms was a relief. The man letting that emotion rest on his features so clearly for her alone and for just that moment. Azrael drawing her all the closer to cut those ties from her and ease that cloth from her lips, his own pressing softly to her cheek, the man determined to make sure she was alright and yet they hardly had time to waste right now. How long could Raven keep holding those men back? Azrael glancing back to make sure that Fae had hardly risen again, his hand reaching for Sera's own to help her too her feet.
"We've gotta go. When we get out of here though we are so talking about what the hell you're doing dealing with the black market."
