Abigail Hughes
Abigail hadn't meant to make the brush flail in such a lively fashion. In fact, she hadn't meant to get stuck at all! Those little twigs were so twisty though! And so very catchy and...maybe the bush fell in love with her and that's why it wanted to keep her. Okay, she was being silly, she knew she was being silly. Bushes didn't love things, especially not panda things! A soft huff left her lips as she paused in her wiggling to eye the offending branch that had so trapped her into place, the little panda was entirely willing to glare at it a little big before she began to shift with a vengeance. Maybe she just needed to wiggle harder. Abby was entirely unaware that in her wiggling spree of wiggliness, she'd almost caused that branch to smack into the face of the inquisitive young fae. In fact, the girl was ignorant of her company until that sing song voice so softly called out to her, prompting her into near immediate stillness. Her ears twitched as her face turned towards the origin of that sound only to see a the fair feminine features of the woman staring at her! That bark of surprise was the first thing to leave her lips before that pounding little heart began to still in the wake of that unexpected....unexpectedness.
Abigail was, however, ever the friendly creature, the woman quite enthusiastically chirping out a welcoming hello before her attention turned back towards that caught foot, entirely content to scold 'Mr. Bush' in a series of barks as she tugged at that twig. Owwww. Her little foot was getting sore with all of this! Her hazel eyes turned abruptly towards her companion as the woman began to speak and yet, those little dots hardly connected for the panda. In fact, calling the bush Mr. Bush seemed so...natural that she so naively thought her companion had simply named him the obvious rather than understood her. Rather, the girl's head bobbed quite enthusiastically, the panda entirely used to being misunderstood. That offer to help with met with another rather static chirp, "Oh my god, thank you!" She watched as the woman leaned further into the bush, shifting those little twigs aide. It took a big of strong pulling but, eventually, the trapped panda had found herself free! And, oh no, her balance wobbled with the force of her own pull, her little form flopping with a rolling thud onto the ground only to land at the base of that bush - but still free!
The girl slowly rose to her feet, shaking off the remaining twigs and leaves from her russet fur. There, that was better! She glanced up at the girl, eying those long pointy looking ears with awe. Well that was neat! Were her ears naturally like that or was she special like Arlo was special? Maybe she was one of those hunters that everyone kept telling her about...but the woman seemed rather friendly, in fact, she was even offering her a picnic! Her nose twitched, sniffing those sweet succulent smells of fruit. "All ship shape! Oooo, that smells delicious. I like apples and they smell really good! I like your picnic!" The girl continued, those words disguised behind those barks as she waddled towards that blanket positioned carefully upon the ground. She glanced back at her newfound friend, her tail flicking in the process. After all, it was rude to steal someone else's food without it being given! Abigail could wait! In fact, it was that very notion that saw the panda settle on her haunches just at the edge of that blanket, eying that fruit as her tongue flopped out.
