The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. mira
Once you have met the worst of the worst, you tend to get a little suspicious of beings in general. Mira certainly had trust issues, which was certainly not surprise why she was apprehensive of the world at large. There had to come a time where you draw that line in the sand and take a stand, despite the monsters marking your door. The she-wolf knew she could trust in herself and those down to the wire judgements when it came down to it. It was a good way to live, a jaded and isolated existence but it kept her alive. Alive when others haven't been so lucky. That was precisely why you never bring a knife to a gun fight.
Mira had followed through on their plan to take down the slightly injured yet still dangerous elk. It was certainly a step up from the petite deer she was hunting on her own, before Nadya thwarted her efforts. The elk they successfully took down was large enough to feed a decent sized pack. For being entire strangers they hunted in complete sync, like two skilled predators should. They had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Mira still rode the high of the take down, the near perfect execution of the once impressive beast passed its prime. If it were not them, someone else would have surely picked off this particular creature. Her heart still thundered loudly within the confines of her ribcage, so loud she could hear it pulsing within her ears. The hunt was exhilarating at the best of times, especially when the odds could have easily been stacked against them. The minor damage she suffered from the impact of the fall would be gone in a day or two, it would be proven worth it. She had suffered far worse ache and pains than this. Like being stabbed with silver, now that was true blind white hot pain.
Nothing was broken and she knew with that improved healing she would be as good as new before she could realise it. Mira didn't focus too much on the possible failure this could have been. She only remained fixed on her options. "I've been through worse, I'm alright." She admitted to the panther. Nadya then spoke of her many abilities up her sleeve. A small wolfish smirk crosses her features as an amused expression flashes behind her golden eyes. "I don't think panther's have sleeves, but I can imagine that comes in handy." She tipped her head as if trying to decipher what these abilities that she spoke of. "Care to humour me with one?"
The sunset was looking vivid as ever, peering through the trees, the clearing allowed that beautiful glow, it reminded her of a blazing fire.
Her next question left he confused with how to answer. She had to be careful with who she divulged information to and how much. "I guess it's the same reason why most of us start anew, the need for a new beginning from the ending of a shitty situation." Well that was an understatement of the year but Mira wasn't all too pleased about talking about herself. She wasn't exactly in the clear when it came to her turbulent past, which still nipped like a rabid snapping jaw at her heels. So far she had outrun it, but for how long? The past was like a boomerang, you can throw it away and it somehow manages to find its way back to hit you in the goddamn face. "It wasn't easy but here I am. Do you know the feeling?" What a strange conversation with blood dripping from her parted maw, hovering over the carcass of their kill.
