South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry had decided that he needed to take a trip to the beach. He could use the tan after all. He dressed only in a pair of swim trunks as he walked along the beach. He carried no towel, not planning on jumping into the water any time soon. He mainly wanted a chance to clear his head and simply try to enjoy the day. He had a lot on his mind regarding Sterling and his pack and everything that had happened recently.

Unbeknown to him, he was being watched by a woman that Raven practically told him to hiss and run away from while Tet was less harsh in how he should associate with the woman. He paused just at the water's edge, letting his toes play in the firm, wet sand just a foot or so from the waves. Henry had found the beach a comfortable place to come and simply think. The waves crashing was soothing to him and he found that the white noise allowed him to clear his head and think.

However, he was completely taken off guard when the arms of a small toddler wrapped around his legs. Clearly the little girl knew who he was...which was strange in and of itself. He looked down at her, making sure not to touch her. After all, the last thing he needed was to be accused of child abuse or kidnapping or some shit like that. People were overly sensitive these days and the last thing he wanted to do was ruffle feathers that didn't really need to be ruffled. He had enough shit to deal with on his own.

Slowly, he drew his gaze from the little girl to scan the beach looking for however she belonged to. "Where's your mom, kid. I think you have the wrong man." Last he heard, he wasn't an uncle. He had a brother...but he hadn't seen his brother since before he had lost his memories. He wasn't even sure if his brother was even alive. He should just find this kid's mom and return to sender. Even as he looked over the crowd, he wasn't sure who he was looking for. That was, until the familiar face of the one person he was supposed to steer clear of came into view. She seemed to be staring at them both. Shit. That was her mom. Was he supposed to do like Raven suggested and run for the hills? Or was he supposed to be polite and engage in a conversation that she had started. Better question was why the fuck Tet and his sister couldn't be good on good terms to begin with...why did whatever happen have to happen? Because now he was stuck between a rock and a hard place and it was quite an awkward place to be indeed.
