The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Those nearly transparent beings had become Serafina's life for nearly a year - their presence was, at times, wholly suffocating to the young woman, prompting her to seek escape in those sanctuaries free from modern life. She had become accustomed to them, to their presence, to their demands, and to the looks she received when she spoke to things not there in an effort to alleviate herself of their unheard voices. For her, they were merely another menace that set the young witch apart from the world at large. Then again, it wasn't as if Serafina particularly needed help on that front as it was. Her blunt nature often tended to leave her at odds with others. That wasn't to say she was incapable of providing those saccharine sweet words, rather, she simply chose not to. This rather short comment of Andras' sibling merely a result of her ever changing moods. Still, that idle jab of his 'inner bloodhound', as she had put it moments ago caused her eyebrow to raise ever so slightly. "Touche." That soprano voice commented with a small shrug. At the very least, she was willing to admit he had succeeded in making his point.
Her focus, however, was entirely steadfast upon that assistance he requested of her, to the point that the young woman found herself inquiring after those details that seemed to perturb the man. She was hardly oblivious to the way her step faltered the moment that question left her lips, her stormy gaze shifted towards the peculiar fellow. A small frown traced the corners of the girl's sweet heart lips and though she was unable to empathize truly with a loss of such magnitude, she was aware, at least form a logical point of view, how...tender....individuals could be at the mention of those traumatic situations. Serafina had never truly lost anyone like this before - simply because she had never truly had anyone to begin with. There were no parents in her life, no siblings to speak of, her friends were fleeting and as far between as a warm bed had been and her mentor had prompted little more than a self-loathing determination within her. No - she knew nothing of what he was going through. Slowly, she nodded, the young woman pausing but briefly in her steps. "If it's too difficult for you, I can go alone. But I need to know where to go." She offered. After all, returning to that place was a sort of inevitability if there was any hope of finding that ghastly woman.
That brief shrug that she provided him, however, caused a small tilt to her head and yet, she remained entirely astute all the same. "It's okay, it doesn't matter to ghosts what's left of their time." She responded, turning back upon her heels to continue leading the way down that sidewalk. That sudden question caused the young woman to gesture to that blue townhome just several houses down. "Just there." She stated, easily closing the distance only to lead up up those wooden stairs and onto that porch. She hardly hesitated to turn that knob, after all, she had been too busy to lock it when she'd left home in the first place. It was, however, that comment of those ghosts that haunted her vision, however, that caused the girl to turn back towards her companion at the threshold of her home. "No...they like to gather here though. I think they know I can see them now so...try to ignore any...weird stuff." She gestured him inside, her fingers flicking on a light in the living room. It was only once that door was securely closed behind them that she bothered to truly answer that question he had asked of her. "This...seeing ghosts thing was a consequence of my involvement in my mentor's death. He decided he wanted to haunt me from the great beyond so I could never be rid of him. He's sitting over there." She gestured briefly towards an empty corner of that leather sofa, the girl altogether aware of his judging gaze upon her even if she regarded the space with an equally cool one of her own.
"Anyways...the leak is this way." Serafina gestured towards the staircase that led upwards towards her bedroom and those rooms her mentor had once closed off from her. Her feet moved with a sort of dancer's grace down that plush hallway, the woman pausing only briefly in front of an ebony door. The handle itself was warm, the frame held runes etched into the ivory wood, runes visible only at the witch's gentle touch. "He spelled it against....I don't know what." She explained with a glimpse over her shoulder and yet, that door quite clearly recognized the young woman, swinging slowly inwards to reveal volumes upon volumes of books - spell books, nonetheless. There, near the window was an arm chair, one with a precariously placed bowl upon the top edge of it. "See, right up there." She pointed upwards towards the plaster that had begun to bubble with the water, though from where she hadn't the slightest notion. The young woman turned, her hands folded beneath her chest to accent her feminine figure all the more in that moment. "A leak for a ghost - sound fair?" The young witch inquired, fully prepared to bargain with the demon fae roof fixer.
