South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It wasn't difficult for Raven not to notice that look of annoyance that appeared on the small Fae's face. There had been many times she had seen that similar look come across her witch's face, and so, the she-wolf knew how to accept it without taking offense. The mention that she shouldn't take the meaning of names so lightly was met with a polite nod. The name Shirley sounded quite familiar. She could recall it being printed on a few menus underneath the different non-alcoholic drinks, one could order if they were underage and wanted to look 'grown-up.' Though really the name didn't bother her at all. Calmly she pressed her voice into the other's head, speaking quite honestly and gently.

"It's not the name that is important to me, it's the person."

Which was quite true. Names were something parents gave their children without even knowing how they would be or even if they deserve it. She could have been called anything else in the world, but her name didn't shape who she was. The experiences she had in her young life, the books she read, and the observant of people was what made the she-wolf the way she was. Not her name. As for having honor in her own name? It came from those that mistreated her purposefully. Although Raven was quite the kind-hearted creature she was not one to forgive her parents or her old pack.

It was troubling though to see the young woman wanting to fall asleep in the middle of the South. It was rather cold and it wasn't a good area for Navi to be by her lonesome. The out bursting laugh caused her head to tilt to the side a bit confused by this response. That she had been spending most of her time alone and outside was absolutely terrible. It was true there weren't many in the city that were friendly, and yet Raven was the type that could be kind to anyone she met. Maybe it was her animal half, but Raven was quite certain that with her animal instincts she was capable of deciding whether or not she could be trusted at all. That Navi assumed she was trusting the woman was met with a wolfish grin. Although she was quite kind her kindness wasn't given because she instantly trusted the Fae. No. Kindness was just something Raven gave to any she walked by. Navi would have to work at it if she wanted her trust.

"You helped me when you didn't have to, and I want to help you as well. However, you do not have my trust."

The wag of her tail was quite friendly as she got herself ready to take the woman to where she knew she would be warm and safe. Heading towards the west the she-wolf started off, easily falling into a rhythm. Eventually the oddly colored wolf would bring the Fae into the West District down those cobbled stone pavement, with the limited gas lightning, easily going down a familiar path and ignoring those that seemed to wander around this time of night. Eventually she would come to a stop at a weather-worn building, with a broken lighted sign. Without much effort the she-wolf transformed into her human form. Navi would see a young woman dressed in raggedy jeans and a faded black hoodie. The scars that traced her wolfish face remained there on her human form. With a nod she gestured for the woman to follow her into a warm and cozy looking foyer. Pointing at the chair for Navi to sit in, she walked through the curtains that led to another room, and then in a few minutes she came out with an older woman with kind eyes standing with her. With a wide grin Raven provided the woman with a bronze key that would be her room.

"This is Mrs. Winslow and she's the owner of this hotel. You can stay here for as long as you want. The food and service is all free, and you would not be a burden. While you stay here, I could let you meet a friend of mine, he too is a Fae...like you."
