South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He didn't know what all she could or couldn't do with that behemoth smoke creature behind him but he wasn't really keen to find out. If she was a vampire, which he was finally starting to believe, that would mean strength so wouldn't she rather just kill him by hand instead? Maybe she was toying with him first, experimenting with him since he was disposable. She only looked amused as the fear started to kick in and he figured out this wasn't just a little girl playing make believe. She grinned at him, telling him the shadow creature was new and she could do other stuff too. He slowly turned his head to watch, somehow feeling he needed to keep playing along. "Oh yeah?" He watched as the shadows slowly dissipated, receding till there was nothing left and for a second he did have to wonder if he imagined it in the first place. Everything looked so normal now. But that feeling was still in the pit of his stomach, the one telling him that he was in mortal danger. When he turned to look at Anna again, her head was tilted, watching him almost curiously. It was like he was an experiment at a lab she was studying. He hated the feeling.

Something changed in her eyes and now she was starting to look more frustrated than amused. He swallowed, wondering what that meant for him. He raised a brow in curiosity despite himself when she started telling him that Sebastian told her not to kill. Who was this guy and how could he tell her what to do and she actually sounded like she wanted to listen? A human or something more? He was starting to wonder all kinds of things. If vampires really existed, then what else did? Werewolves? Ghosts? All the things of nightmares? He listened as she now mentioned another guy, Damon. Who were these people to her? He was starting to think he liked the Sebastian guy more than the Damon guy. Sebastian said not to kill but Damon said to continue to hunt. What a jerk. Then the deal came out. She told him that if he played with her and let her eat a little bit, she wouldn't kill him. The idea of eating in reference to him made him feel sick in the pit of his stomach. It felt like a cannibal asking to eat your foot but he wouldn't kill you. Would he feel like a blood donor in one of those vans or something lower, more disgusting? But this was his life she was playing with. It was either this or death and he knew there was no third option. He also knew she would kill him and not think twice about it.

He saw something new in her eyes now that he was open to the idea of what she was. Her eyes, they were cold and dark. Blue but lifeless. Life meant next to nothing to her. His probably meant less. He knew he probably didn't have long to think about it before she made the decision for him so he cleared his throat. At that moment, she held out her hand and said she was hungry, her eyes practically daring him to do anything else but give her exactly what she wanted. He held out his arm, watching her face the whole time. "Okay...drink up, I guess." He muttered the last part, wondering if he'd be able to watch or if he would have to look away like a kid afraid of needles when they went to get a blood draw. He wasn't scared of needles but what would it be like to watch someone drink his own blood straight from his veins? Would it hurt? He bit his tongue. He didn't want to ask. He didn't want to frustrate her any further. She might change her mind on the deal. Was this what his life was reduced to? He only just found out about vampires and now he was going to be donating to one in exchange for his life? It was almost enough to make him laugh. Almost.
