The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. If there was a lesson to be learned tonight, it was the severe reminder that the warehouse district wasn't as safe as she presumed. Though she wished she didn't have to learn this lesson in this particular way. Being shot at, drugged, and brought to a place where she would be used as some sort of breeding machine sounded more like a horror film gone wrong. Perhaps she should invest her life to someone in the media, maybe she be a sellout and trade in her pain from her living nightmares into cold hard cash.
With the zoo employees making their exit Raven began her escape. Long pointy muzzle turned in such an odd way as her black lips pulled back to reveal sharp teeth. Sinking those sharp ivories into the leather strap that was connected between her collar and chain, she struggled to bite into it. Grey trimmed ears twitched when she heard the soft displeased groan come from the only other living creature in the room. Hackles were raised as she let go of the leather, backing away from him as far as she possibly could, her lithe frame naturally puffing out in an intimidating factor. But she wasn't doing it on purpose, but it was her primal response of fight or flight. Although her mind was beseeching her to take flight, her body would subtly attempt to make her look intimidating, but really how could a wolf look such a thing to a panther? Her fluffy tail would lower and casually coil around her leg, severely uncomfortable and threatened. Even though he was chained up like her, with his claws and teeth he held the upper hand if he wished to attack. Knowing she was just a sitting duck and that she could not adequately defend herself, she stayed out of his way her focus returned on her own leash.
The sound of chain and leather snapping caused her to turn her head in his direction. Slate eyes widen, slightly in shock that he had somehow managed to easily break his own doohickey binds. As he moved in her direction, since the door to escape was near her she would take another step back not wanting to be close. Turning her head back around, now that he would simply be gone and leave her behind, she attempted to work on her own once again. It was survival of the fittest in Were Law and she assumed he would simply leave her behind. With her teeth managing to tear the leather stop that connected her collar and leash, she was shocked to find chain underneath it. Unable to use her teeth to snap the chains she sighed in defeat sitting down and bringing her tail over her grey paws. With the chain outstretched as far as it could go, eyes closed as her mind began to wander into self-doubt unable to come up with how she was going to break the chain. The scent of male and Panther suddenly filled her nose as she inhaled, puzzled her eyes would open and she would instantly freeze up. Flinching at his close presence, she watched quietly as his teeth snapped the chain feeling his hold tighten and the chain suddenly loosen. The stench of something acidic caused the girl to snort, unused to the strong scent, as she felt the chain slacken. Pulling in the opposite direction and hearing the satisfying sound of the snap from the broken chain, the girl quickly took a step back away from the Panther. Bewildered at his act of kindness she would sway her tail side to side, a gentle voice barely reaching his mind.
"Thanks"
As he slinked towards the door, which was the only capable exit, she would fall in line behind him. As they pushed through the heavy swinging doors, they would find themselves entering a well-lit tunnel like hallway with various doors lined along it. Puzzled she would lift her head some catching the assortment of different scents, searching for that familiar taste of the outside world that beckoned them to freedom. With a few tentative steps forward, grey trimmed ears rotated picking up various sounds of shoes squeaking on the floor, or the occasional voices bouncing from other hallways causing Raven to simply stand there assessing her surroundings. Tilting her head to the side, she felt something heavy still enclosed around her neck, the leather collar a highly uncomfortable and unusual thing, simply annoyed her greatly. Barely catching a scent of fresh air she would had in that direction, taking a few tentative steps before she felt a painful sensation start to form around her. Everything about him screamed he was a creature that was an Alpha of some sort and as a loner it was painful to be around another like that. With Tobi and Nadya being in a pack, if she was with them separately she didn't feel pain, but when they were together at the warehouse it made her highly uncomfortable. It was dangerous for a loner to be near members of a pack, but far more treacherous and agonizing to be in the presence of an Alpha. With a tilt of her head in the direction where she presumed their freedom was, she would wait until he would head in that similar direction quietly following after him. Though as the two began their trek, a door would open and an innocent zookeeper of some sort would take notice and immediately scream for others to be aware of their break out. Panicked, the unusually marked wolf would begin to run, still heading for the direction she thought they needed to go only to be blocked by a heavy swinging door. Pushing through the two would enter a dark room, the scent of fresh air was heavy and as soon as the door slammed shut the sound of squeaking shoes passed them, the workers clearly chasing the duo in another direction. A soft voice would gently penetrate his mind once more as Raven took hesitant steps away from his side.
"I think we are okay here...for now?"
Her movement would cause the lights overhead to turn on allowing the two to see exactly where they were. The room was a bit narrowed flushing down a hallway, the scent of fresh air quite heavy. Thinking this was their exit she would head down the hallway only to find bars that led to the outside of some various zoo exhibits. With the doorway cage shut keeping the two from entering an exhibit her head would tilt to the side as she sat down, awaiting whatever instructions or actions that would take place. Yet her attention on him was drawn away when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. There on the other side of one of the cages was a familiar forest like setting with odd brownish-pinkish creatures moving about. Some short or scaly armor covered their backs, their oddly shaped heads were pointed down as the Armadillos froze at the scent of predators nearby. Startled at the presence of predators the oddly shaped creatures would jump upwards nearly 3 or 4 feet in the air, causing the lupine to stand now, the desire to investigate rather than seek freedom taking over her mind. As the creature began to curl itself into a ball, her slate eyes would deviate to the Panther. She understood that beyond the doors they just came from was the hallway that led to numerous places. The multiple cages that was the back entrance to outdoor animal exhibits were closed and clearly needed a key to unlock them. Yet there was a sudden strong desire that made the girl wish to just see what in the world these weird creatures were, and as she looked at the Panther, she wordlessly asked just what his plan was to do in this particular situation.
I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
