The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

For the past several years of Alexander's existence, the small dingy cafe had become his entire life. The Sanctum was all he had anymore - it was his newfound routine within his otherwise mundane existence. His infinite life went through phases, for several years he'd been faithfully devoted to his species cause, hunting down and mercilessly murdering those that threatened the entire human race. It had been enough for a few decades, for a century at best till the faces began to blur and his heart failed to be moved to draw his blade. It had mattered. No matter how many deaths. No matter how many lives were saved. The cycle always continued. A hint of discontentment crossed his masculine features as he listened to another order barked within his general direction, the customer clearly having no concept of "decent human being". Frankly, he detested the notion that customer was king, especially when certain individuals hardly deserved such exemplary service. A wayward glance was given to the barista he had hired - the young witch was surely capable of taking care of this unruly bunch, especially since Alexander's patience had reached it's limit. He abandoned the cafe, it's patrons and the young girl for the morning rush.
Surprisingly, it was the outskirts that called to him, the gentle spring zephyr caressing his short, blond locks. He was content to wander purposelessly through the foliage and fauna. The metropolis could, at times, be overwhelming, despite the period of industrialization he had lived through. It was true that the modern world was certainly a wonder but sometimes he missed the sand between his toes, the sun sweltering down his back, an almost sheer cloth loosely wrapped around his figure and a "city" waiting to be ransacked. Those had always been the days. Alexander was drawn from his infinitely long memories by the sound of a bubbling brook, the rushing river surely enough to cause a deviation in his idle wanderings. Despite the darkness that surrounded him, his sea colored gaze had long ago adjusted to the dimness that surrounded him. Vaguely, he was able to make out the figure of the female. Immediately Alexander stills, centuries of instincts kicking in as if he'd never really left his military life behind at all. Slowly he crouched, taking shelter behind a tree if only to further observe the figure in front of him, waiting for the sun to rise and bathe the river and the woman in breath taking hues of pinks and oranges.
His eyebrows furrowed for a moment as he remained rooted to his spot, his crystalline gaze tracing over the blood that drenched her ebony clothing. Innately he knew that she was one of them, one of him and yet, despite this knowledge he was still content to remain unseen, at least for a moment longer. Alexander didn't often socialize with his own race - at least not much anymore. It took him a moment of further indecision till the Dark Hunter felt it fit to make his presence known with one simple question. "Do you need help?"
