The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. mira
Mira received a small affirmation of that spoken knowledge. It was accompanied by a chuckle that left his lips, that sound rich in the nighttime cold that somehow felt warm. The charred hued wolfess was gaining quite a lot of knowledge of the alpha of the west. Who would have thought she would have found herself here? When she had first come to the fractured city of Sacrosanct she had promised herself to stay far, far away from the packs. She was determined to live under the radar, to coast until she was nothing but a mere memory, a wallflower that was hardly noticed. But there were some people that no matter how they might try, they couldn't fly under the radar, even if they tried with every ounce of effort.
The cove was a peaceful place, calming and entirely removed from the stresses that weight upon her weighted shoulders. It was unlikely she could damage this pristine oasis, the water was able to cool that wildly blazing flesh. It could only dull the raging lava that coursed within her, that made her skin sizzle and evaporate the water off the smooth rock surface of her flesh. Pulled her body from the water felt good, feeling it turn to a billowing mist felt cleansing somehow. She peered at the granite cloaked panther with her piercing, blazing golden eyes. She knew she couldn't lie to the man even if she wanted to play it down. That story signifying her own weakness within those terse moments. Reluctantly, it left her lips, the very unhinging of her new life.
The very events that transpired this night had made her hopes for an under the radar life seem entirely laughable. She could not escape her life without repercussions. She would have to face it head on even if it were like staring at a hungry volcano right in its monstrous mouth.
The volcano wolf allowed that web of a story leave her lips, without holding back the details that would be better left unsaid. She even uttered an oath, to assure no harm came onto him or his pack. No, she wouldn't allow it, it was the only promise she could make within these chains that had suddenly been shackled to her. Why should she be so surprised, the majority of her life had been a rouse to control her, to manipulate the strength she innately possessed. Men like Negan, like Frost, were not much different from one another, were they? They wanted the power to control it all for themselves. Yet Tetradore felt different to her, the panther, despite is prickly exterior, gave a shit. His skin might as well have been made of that granite that shielded him now. She could relate to it, her own walls were the only thing that had kept her sanity in those years under Negan's dictatorship.
She could sense that hesitation, that brief moment where he wasn't sure if he wasn't quite sure if he could believe her. It didn't bother her, the doubt that she saw there. He was just going to need to trust in her like she had done in him in those chaotic moments. "Nothing to appreciate. Time will reveal it all in time." She knew her own iron-clad heart and her very resolve. There was a desire to keep Tetradore sheltered from her own shit storm. It was what she wanted to avoid from the start. Yet only knowing him solidified it further.
She felt the rage that sizzled within her heart. How she bristled on all that transpired this night. Maybe this freedom she felt was just a carefully constructed illusion. A curious little tidbit of knowledge that made her head tilt so slightly but it wasn't enough to tame that pissed off feeling that she was nothing but a god damn marionette. How could he stand there, being so sure? How could he know unless he was so very sure? Why should he waste that kind of leverage on someone like her? She would never know. Instead of focusing on that knowledge he offered she was focused more on the residual anger that brought a venomous growl to her lips, low and menacing that it could reverberate deep within one's rib cage. It was his sharp utterance of her name that had her hesitate that boiling rage she felt that built the inferno inside of her.
That very look in his eyes had a close effect on the cool water that cooled her flesh. She was wild like the very volcano that roared within her, she needed to better control it better if she was ever going to stand up against the threats that were to come. She needed to shut up her own thoughts and listen. Just listen and use that powerful mind she possessed instead of the brawn she knew she possessed. She drew in a breath, realising she had been holding her own. Her ears snapped forward, her wild gaze fixed upon his steely resolved. She could learn something from Tetradore, that careful resolve he possessed was impressive. He repeated that he might have something that could assist her, yet despite that doubt that wanted to rear its head she focused upon him, taking a casual step toward him, allowing her head to lower slightly. "I'm listening.." She spoke those words smoothly almost softly with a bite of dry amusement, chasing back the lava that wanted to burst out of her in one entirely explosive fashion.
She could almost finish his words before he finished uttering them. That cunning of his mind working in ways that were impressive. It made her mind reel with possibilities, with confusion. She liked him, liked the way he cared for his own. Liked his loyalty, his resolve. He was by no means like Negan, not by a long shot. Even though he was a hard man to read she knew enough bad news characters to spot one."No, but I met her in the woods one night. She offered me a possible place in their pack, she had no idea I knew you. I told her no..... politely." Hell, it was more than polite and she even let the woman take more than her fair share of the elk they had taken down. Mira held her cards very close to her chest, not allowing any leverage used. "Can you trust a treaty with a man like Frost? Is his word really that concrete?" She asked curiously. Could Frost be trusted at his word? Raven told her not to believe a thing Frost said and she was so strong in her belief in that. It was enough for the she-wolf to believe the woman. But Tetradore seemed to know something, to feel pretty confident in his own abilities to so-called, keep the peace. Something wasn't entirely adding up but she couldn't place a finger on it.
She moved even closer, allowing her paws sinking into the sad propelled her lithe form, that angry glow lessened. That plan at least kept everyone safe, she couldn't argue that. "Tell me Tetradore." She didn't shut down his final suggestion, didn't give an inkling that she was going to agree to this crazy little plan that went against everything she had been fighting for. Their eyes met level with one another, noting the curious look in his gaze, her breathing controlled and her mind stopped its frantic pace. She could hear his own breath, see the intricate natural grooves upon his granite flesh. It was a sane question. Not one intended to make buildings crumble or one spoken out of a mean streak. "What do you get out of all this?" Was aligning himself with Frost beneficial to him? Was taking in another beaten down soul really going to make him strong?
She didn't know if he was crazy for considering making the deal with an untrustworthy force and asking her to join his pack with this possible alliance underfoot. Or if she was crazy for considering it. What was it about Tetradore that made her want to trust him? Was it that compassion or that ability to calm that wild soul of hers? Regardless, she knew the answer like a gravitational pull, even if it leads her down that familiar path of disarray.
