South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

The woman was hysterical. Completely fucking hysterical. Azrael managed a sigh, his fingers lifting to pinch at the bridge off his nose in some outward sign of his displeasure in this entire conversation. This, he was sure, was a job for the human police or at least someone who gave a damn far more than he did about some sort of verbal assault. Still, the woman hardly seemed willing to allow him to merely talk her out of what she believed was some great injustice. Was it any bloody wonder humans kept getting themselves killed? Maybe that's why his species had been created to begin with. To protect idiot mundane humans from getting themselves murdered for carrying on like fools. His efforts to direct her to a police station to file a complaint only seemed to spark all the more fury from her and those ever-ridiculous assurances that if he knew who she was he would never have said such things. Frankly, Azrael was damn near sure he would have. His short temper was almost as legendary as his often abrasive social skills. Maybe he'd become to well known in this city. The woman had know who and what he was the moment she'd seen him only to come racing over to stop him from walking out of that park, finishing his shift and going home to lie on his couch because some guy had said something 'inappropriate' at her. God, maybe it would just be easier to find the guy. Maybe whoever it was had done them both a favour and pissed off so Azrael could tell her the man was gone and they called all go home.

"Fine, fine, where is this man? Just point him out to me then go the hell home."

His use of the word 'hell' it seemed, was equally as offensive and yet she was hardly willing to tell him off quite so readily. The woman instead leading him back down through those trees to point toward a man seated and smoking on a park bench, this, she assured him, was the creature whom had dared to suggest she slap him like she had slapped her ex-husband's lover. Azrael's own gaze narrowed almost dubiously. This probably was her bloody ex-husband and he was about to find himself in some sort of ridiculous domestic argument. Then again....the man on the bench was a Fae. Hmm. Maybe this had been worth his time. Even if only because it might yet provide him an excuse to kill something that should never have existed to begin with. Unholy creatures Fae were. So against God. It had been a quiet shift. Plus, Fae were so rare these days it was almost surprising to see one at all. Still, killing the creature would result in substantially more paperwork then he cared fill out at the Council Headquarters tonight. Maybe the Fae was about to lucky. If he was late for dinner Serafina would bloody well hang him. Maybe they could solve this really quickly.

Azrael turned briefly back towards the woman once more to send her on her way with the assurance he'd do something about 'the amount of lowlifes inhabiting a public space' (because she seemed to think he cared). The woman turning to march back onto the path and toward the park exit. Thank christ she was gone. He easily embraced his own affinity then, Azrael moving far faster than any mortal or immortal eye was capable of tracking to appear behind this leather-jacket wearing Fae. His hand flicked easily to aim a slap across the back of the head of the fellow in near the same motion before abruptly stepping out from behind him. One hand lifted in that clear gesture for silence lest the Fae make some attempt to start blabbering at him for hitting him.

"I had a very irate woman tell me you wanted a good slap. Now you've had it. How about you keep your damn mouth closed so I don't have to get harrassed by overly-sensitive debutantes running up to me and ruining my damn day by demanding I come down here and deal with you, hmm? Can you manage that? It would be great if you could because I want to go home."

His tone was as firm and harsh as always, some touch of sarcasm nearly finding those final few words as his golden gaze rested firmly on the Fae in front of him. He knew readily that the Fae would likely recognise him as a Hunter with nearly as much ease as he recognised this mans species in turn and hopefully that, alone, would be enough to send him on his way. Then again- there was a reason Fae were all but extinct and by the looks of him Azrael was almost braced for an argument. At least the end off his shift might be more interesting than the beginning.
