The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

PhD in Plant Biology Abigail Hughes
Abigail was entirely taken aback by her new found coworker's admittance that she too was new to this whole waitress thing. What? Adelaide had hired two brand new waitresses for her Grand Opening? This didn't seem like the best sort of business move but....she certainly wasn't in the place to question it. Rather, a concern look crossed her features as Elain continued on to base her own expectations around movie scenes. SO much of Abigail's life was based around those very things and, to be frank, the girl had quickly learned that movies were very rarely a correct representation of the world at large. Even so, her head bobbed as she listened intently to Elain's instructions and though it certainly sounded easily enough, Abigail's usual optimism had certainly taken a hit. Tonight was going to be crazy at this rate. Sure, they would survive but this was in no way going to be smooth when they were all so inexperienced! She could only hope their customers would be understanding of the little bistro and it's staff. A soft breath left her lips and yet, she did her best to present her co-worker was a warm simper all the same. "Sure, that sounds great." She responded at that suggestion that this half of the restaurant would be her's to cover - her own little domain! She could handle this.
That soft touch of the woman's hand upon her shoulder caused her gaze to shift from those tables and back towards the woman. Her hazel eyes met those bright blue ones of her companion and yet, she regarded her new coworker with a warm simper all the same at that almost steadfast reassurance. Her head bobbed yet again in a far more firm fashion, as if to show her own confidence and her unwavering willingness to at least attempt this challenge. After all, her father had told her that failure was just a learning lesson. It might take them some time but Abigail was altogether certain they would both learn this whole waitressing thing soon enough. "Thank you, Elain, I'm sure you'll do great too!" The young woman offered back in response, attempting to provide her companion with the same level of tireless support that the woman had offered her. After all, Elain surely deserved that encouragement too! She was almost in the same boat as her! Only, maybe with a bit more assurance and w bunch more spirit then Abigail herself.
Her gaze turned from Elain as Adelaide herself moved towards the front window to eye that line that had begun to form outside. She could hardly help that flutter of anxiety within her and yet, Abigail remained silent as she listened astutely to that small speech her employer provided the group at large. Her hands rung ever so slightly in that nervousness as Adelaide turned to open the front door and, soon enough, that very crowd was upon her. The anticipatory quietness was all but forgotten in that crowd of individuals that were soon enough seated at Abigail's tables. The young woman was a people pleaser by nature, and yet, even she found herself occasionally struggling to remember everything they asked for. Still, all in all, she managed at the very least to keep most of them satisfied and that in itself was a small victory for the rural girl who had, perhaps, never had this much social interaction in such a short span of time in her whole life! Even so, she was pleased to see that the little Bistro was managing it's first day fairly well, even between that back and forth dashing from tables to kitchen and that juggling of dishes and requests.
