The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He paid careful attention to the wolf as he crouched down near it. It started to become more apparent that it had lost use of its back leg, it didn't however appear to be broken from what he could see. Suddenly a woman's voice entered his head; so the wolf could understand him and communicate with him telepathically. He'd known one other telepath in his lifetime, it was a skill that often came in handy. He couldn't help but let a loose chuckle fall from his lips at her reply. He'd not meant to offend her with his words, but it was obvious she'd taken some kind of offence to them. She was no pet and should she have been at full health and in top shape, she would have given the blonde Vampire a run for his money. The voices coming up from behind them grew louder. He picked up on at least four different voices; quite the hunting party. His sharp blue eyes looked back out behind the she wolf, scanning to see how close the group was. They still only were picked up by his ears. Once again the glum female's voice came through his mind. His head shook as her voice trailed off in his mind. There was no way he could leave her here with that hunting party on her tail; he was doubtful she would accept his help either, so that left him in-between a rock and a hard place. There weren't many options left for the disabled wolf and Vampire at this point. He could get her covered and moved elsewhere while he tried to fight them off or send them down to another part of the woods; but if there was a chance that there was a hunter or someone sensitive to the supernatural that wouldn't work. Not to mention the she wolf looked like she could have easily taken down four or more humans with ease, there was still a huge advantage they had over her. It was most likely that tranquilizer didn't help her cause and well it wouldn't help his either. If they couldn't fight it only left the option to run left and time was running out to start that plan out. Running wasn't going to happen if he didn't carry the she wolf out of the woods and he doubted she'd consent to that, even though it seemed like it was there best option. With her large size he guessed she weighed about 200 to 250 pounds, the average wolf weighed about half of that and she was nothing close to average. He'd have no trouble physically carrying her through the woods at a pace quick enough to evade the men after her. Shit. His blues jumped back behind the wolf, seeing two men start to come into view. They hadn't been able to see them yet, but soon they would be right on top of them. Carefully he rose to his feet. "I'm not going to leave you here for them. Just don't bite me and I won't bite you, deal?" His voice was hushed and low as he moved closer to her. "Let's get that off you, so you can at least have that option." He moved to her to remove the leather muzzle that had been covered her pearly whites; had he have been smarter he would have left it on. But right now that was the only thing she really had left to defend herself should this end in a fight with the men hunting her. Not to mention it was a show of good faith on his part. His large hands would work swiftly to remove the leather from her muzzle. "Please just stop arguing, we can do that after you're out of here if you'd like." So long as that went well he'd then attempt to pick the wolf up and carry her, wrapping her bulky frame around his shoulders. I sold my soul... just so I could feel paid. I broke my heart... so I couldn't feel pain. I lost my faith... 'cause I can't justify the weight. I've got no hope... that's only for losers and fakes. |
