While it was weird to be confronted with those children of Frost's, there was no way she was going to let him think he couldn't have them closer and be a part of their life because of her. Their ideas on that would simply have to agree to disagree as she felt he had every right if he wanted to request visitation. The bonds of an adult tended to rely on the bonds made as children afterall. Nadya didn't want him to feel like he missed out. "You'd be a good father. Micah and Izzy are proof of that." Nadya whispered softly for his ears only before returning to her place setting. Frost was quick to retreat into one of the many exiting lines shortly after leaving her to follow Katrin's lead this time in leaving the dining hall.
Nadya was grateful for Frost's hasty return to her side and baring food no less for her. The woman allowed the tension from her shoulders to relax now that they were out from under watchful hunter gazes. She didn't dare bite into one of those apples until they were safely back within Gaeska's home in a moment of solitude. Nadya honestly couldn't help the thoughts that rolled over in her mind. Perhaps she shouldn't have spoken them aloud though; there was just so much of his time growing up here that she knew nothing about. That expression that fell his face though immediately had Nadya wanting to wrap her arms around him. She knew already though that such display of affection in this place wasn't allowed, who knew who would walk in, so all she was able to do was reach out to brush his hand with hers.
She pulled her hand away when the others began to filter in a moment later. Her gaze swept easily over the group varying in ages. These were the ones that could be trusted? It seemed like a small number but Nadya remained quiet in her place sitting on the edge of the bed by Frost's side. The near uproar at Frost's declaration to leave and take anyone with him besides his mother did cause Nadya's gaze to narrow slightly. Apparently they would need proof that they were far more capable than outward appearances. Nadya focused her gravity power on the framework of the house- the timber creaking and shuddering, bending in threat to break around them as if in an earthquake. She had grown stronger with the practicing she had been doing just as much as she had been on hand-to-hand and riding. No major damage was dealt though as Nadya quickly released the ability and stood now at Frost's side. "We aren't going into this without anything to back it up. It'd be worth it to hear him out...for your children." If nothing else, perhaps the appeal to a possible better future for their children might turn their ears again.
Nadya fell quiet once more so Frost could take over. They seemed more apt to listen now, for that she was grateful since only numbers as Frost said were likely to make this work. Fear had kept them as individuals but courage could change them into a formidable herd. Even she felt unsure of the boy he pulled forward though. Surely he was too young to put in any sort of front line. Any concerns about it would go unspoken though as she would never question Frost, her Alpha, in front of those looking for leadership. It was an idea that popped into her mind that she voiced instead. "A hunter mentioned a party tonight. Is there any way to find out if there's one again tomorrow or perhaps orchestrate one to occupy the hunters while we work? The noise could help cover the sound of moving so many of the herd?"
