South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

for the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey
her speech is smoother than oil
but in the end she is bitter as wormwood
sharp as a two-edged sword
her feet go down to death
her steps follow the path to Sheol

- PROVERBS 5:3-5;;
In truth, Serafina might have almost hoped the canine did have rabies, maybe then she could use it as an excuse to not get too close to her. Unfortunately for Serafina, her newfound hunter friend seemed far too knowledgeable about the wolf's kind to buy her the few extra feet she'd yearned for. A disgruntled sigh left the girl's lips as she she was pushed closer towards the canine and, finding that she had little option in the matter, Serafina eventually settled next to the wolf. She was content to pout at her obvious misfortune, almost oblivious to the changes in the Dark Hunter or the figment that haunted his mind, a memory that so lived within the locks of her ebony hair. It was the wolf's growling tones that pulled the youthful girl from her pouting, her eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly in confusion. Her gaze shifted from the wolf to the dark hunter, choosing not to comment at all on the topic when clearly there was something going on between the two. She'd dismissed the girl's voice entirely, content to go back to her pouting before the wolf continued to prod at their slayer, effectively clearing up the confusion that'd previously marred her features.

A soft snort left her nose, clearly disbelieving that the hunter would find her anything more then disgusting, the memory of his figure recoiling from her playing over within her mind. He was trying to kill her, clearly whatever attraction the wolf thought she saw was no more then just antagonizing. "If you keep it up your going to make him kill us faster." She muttered under her breath, her thoughts on the topic quickly reaffirmed by the snappy tone within the blond's voice. Serafina hadn't seen the wolf move, she didn't notice him pulling the trigger on the gun. What she was aware of, however, was the sudden loud noise and the rush of wind near her head. She heard the bullet split the tree and splitter the bark, eliciting a scream from her vocal cords as she rushed to her feet, clearly willing to ignore the dark hunter's threat to keep her in place now that he was preoccupied with her fellow prisoner. She eyed the gun at her feet, a frown on her lips. She knew she should run, but she needed that damn bag and they were scrambling right on top of her precious herbs.

For a moment she considered ignoring her dropped goods entirely, after all she could always get more and her life was far less replaceable. She'd turned on the balls of her feet, intending to leave the dueling creatures to their task when a sharp yelp caused her to pause, a small frown across her face. As much as Serafina wanted to go, she had to admit that the wolf had, perhaps indadvertedly, saved her life. She owed the canine something, that much she knew. Hesitantly, Serafina turned back towards the pair, her gaze falling quite abruptly upon those golden eyes, equally as uncomfortably aware of the slate tinged ones that too bore a whole within her. She knew what they wanted of her, she knew it had to do entirely with the gun nestled at her feet and at the exact same time, Serafina felt that innate need to rebel, to go against the mold that they were trying so desperately to conform her to. She leaned down slowly, her intense eyes watching them, uncaring of the view that such a gesture gave them. Her petite hands slowly wrapped around the barrel of the gun although her intents certainly failed to fall within either of their desires.

If the young girl could admit to any particularly beneficial traits, she had to admit her occasional knack for being observant, particularly when such observations led her slamming into a body that wasn't there seconds prior. If there was anything that she had learned from the earlier incident, it was that the hunter had some uncanny ability for teleportation. She knew that if she even tried so much as to direct the barrel within his direction, she'd find the man at her side and herself subject to his wrath. By the look of the wolf, such anger was not something that Serafina particularly found herself wanting. Thankfully for her, it seemed her canine companion still had some kind of wits about her, placing the man right in the direct path of one of his own covered traps.
