Turning around she continued going down a hallway where there were hardly any buyers. However, they weren't alone. Lifting her head she inhaled the stale and sick air. It was potent and it was awful. There were Weres, witches and warlocks, even humans. How could the Council allow such a thing to happen? Something like this, something this established surely had to be on their radar at one point in time or another. Raven knew the Council wouldn't care about her kind, but humans were innocent in all of this. None of them deserved this treatment. The idea that someone or a group were rounding up all these individuals made sense. Whomever they were, they were heartless and cruel; they didn't deserve to be alive. Nodding her head in agreement with Azrael she continued to quietly move on down the hallway far away from the others. Her ears twitched back and forth picking up the sound of wheezing and coughing, It was obvious why some of them were stuck in the back here. It wasn't because they held a higher value and they needed to be hidden from prying eyes. Rather they were sick, ill, worthless some even dead by that foul stench she caught in the air. It was difficult to keep her head down and pointed in the opposite direction of those cages. Raven wasn't so sure that the Council would listen to what Azrael had to say. Stopping she turned around seeing he had his hand in his pocket fishing around for his phone. Tilting her head upwards she looked around not seeing anyone coming around for them. As soon as he was done she made a beeline towards the exit. She wanted to get far from here as she possibly could.
While they were making their way back towards the area where most of the vampires were she heard the sound of another hollering for them. Confused she stopped and went straight back towards Azrael. She glared at the older man her ears laced back against her head not too excited to see him. If he wanted to buy her too she would bite him regardless if Azrael would approve or not. That request for Azrael's phone wasn't what she expected. His order to cover her eyes was odd. Diving to the ground she closed her eyes as she covered them with her paws. Hearing the vampire yelp angrily she lifted her paws off her eyes, opening them to see the Dark Hunter grab the vampires' arm and lead him away/. Lifting herself back up she followed after the two of them keeping her head down. Ignoring the other vampires she headed towards the ramp as Azrael took care of that nosey vampire. Waiting for him at the top of ramp she wagged her tail once he made it. Calmly she turned around heading for that familiar door. This particular area seemed empty. There were are few groups talking to one another here and there most of the buyers were down below. Her head titled upwards when she noticed that the vampires the other Dark Hunter mentioned were still upstairs. Her ear twitched when she heard a few barks coming from the white-haired dogs. As they made their way towards the door Raven felt her entire body go rigid and she was forced to stop moving. Two tall red-haired vampires came, she thought, out of the shadows. One of them blocked their path while the other came by and clasped a chain around her neck. Blue-grey eyes widened as she felt that familiar cold metal encase around her neck. Her heart was hammering loudly in her chest as she looked over to Azrael, with a frightened look on her face. Both vampires looked at two of them, both sharing wide grins, as they made a gesture for them to follow, the one holding the chain and pulling gently for Raven to follow spoke.
"She's a beautiful thing. It's a shame though. After you purchase you have to get her branded. Just in case she escapes and while on the streets if anyone catches her, they know she was sold here. Better chance of you finding her again."
Raven didn't move at all. Even when the vampire continued to gently tug at that chain to make her move she wouldn't do it. Her mind was racing. It had been years since she felt that chain collar encased around her neck. Raven wasn't there now. She was trapped within her own mind hearing her feral side snarl. The last time she was trapped like this was when she broke out. It was a bad night. Whimpering softly she took a few steps back away from the vampire while the other was approaching them slowly. She could feel her feral-self start to take control. Raven tugged on that other half gently, reassuring the other that they would be fine...they would make it out of there. Her voice held a panic tone as they pressed sharply into Azrael's head.
