Those golden-brown curls swayed gently as she shook her head dejectedly. How could Frost even begin to understand? The story when he was attacked by Xerxes was awful, and she was capable of sympathizing. But what she couldn't comprehend was why he was the way he was. Why didn't he turn out like herself? He seemed strong and capable of taking on anything that Fate threw at him. But he seemed out of touch with his ability to connect easily with others. Where she was able to connect with others cautiously, but willingly, Frost did not. Perhaps there was a side of Frost that was lost too? Maybe that gentler, kinder, warmer man existed beneath that cold exterior. Two similar souls with two completely different outcomes. Blue-grey eyes lifted upwards as the figure of the scarecrow began to form. There was confusion and anger she felt from her other side. Concerned that this was a trick. Based on past experiences he wasn't really someone she could trust, and her other half wanted to attack him, to help keep them safe. Blue-grey eyes remained locked on the scarecrow, her lips pulled back to reveal those useless human teeth of hers. That other demanding to be in control. Her other half believing they were not safe. Not with him. Not when he was putting visions in their mind. Although Raven didn't think Frost was trying to harm them her other half could not be reassured. Answering his question as herself, she begrudgingly answered for the other.
Eventually she lost some control as that feral side spoke up, giving the stallion an ominous theat. Those eyes locked on Frost alone. That softer side of Raven tried to encourage the other to not focus on Frost, but look back to the scarecrow, because there had to be a reason why. That simper on his face confused Raven, and it made her increasingly uneasy. Growling softly she took a step towards him, her hands this time in front of her as her body seemed to crouch and learn forward. The mention of the scarecrow made the woman turn around and see the figure standing behind them. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as turned back around to face Frost, glaring coldly at him. She didn't like hearing she made a mistake, the weaker side of herself was the one that made mistakes. Awkwardly her head tilted as the creature thought out what next steps she would make. Work together. Why should they? She could hear the softer voice plead her to stop, to not do anything rash, because they would regret it...just like they did last time. That order to attack the scarecrow, now at the other side of the field, made her pause for a moment. It had to be a trick.
Without any effort the woman, crouched and standing was replaced with the peculiarly colored lupine. Black lips pulled back to reveal those far more deadlier pearly whites, that grey marked tail slashing behind her in an irritated manner. Her dial flung to the side as her the sane side shook away that irritation the other felt. Her eyes shifted towards the innocent looking scarecrow. Her ears twitched back and forth not hearing any sound come from the figure. The lupine easily lowered her form to the ground as she slinked towards the figure. Every now and then Raven would stop and stand there, crouched, watching the figure noticing it wasn't moving. Once she was close enough for striking range she stopped, waiting, unsure if she should attack. That other side of her noticed the hesitation. Finding the scarecrow hardly a threat she instantly took control of that body they shared. Without a sound she bolted towards the Scarecrow, body low for a moment and then suddenly she lunged at the scarecrow, her front paws colliding with where its shoulders would be. Her jaw was wide open as her teeth sunk into the place where the jugular would be. Falling to the ground she violently shook her head causing pieces of straw to fly away. Satisfied that she dealt the final blow she pounced off the scarecrow, this time aiming straight towards Frost. Snarling with her teeth barred she raced towards him fully intending on attacking him. Using that telekinesis she forced the man to fall to the ground, pushing him. As she grew closer her speed increased when suddenly she was violently thrown into the ground. Growling she began to snap in the air at an invisible attacker, bringing herself up to her paws she thrashed to and fro for a few minutes and then she went absolutely still. Panting heavily, her tail swayed side to side nervously. Her ears tucked against her skull as she lowered her head, a sign of submission, giving him a signal that she was back in control now. Weakly a timid voice pressed in his head as she slowly began to walk towards him.
