He laughed like it was natural, saying he was human first so of course he liked human things. She couldn't help but smirk bitterly. "Lucky you." She didn't mean to sound depressing so she was quick to shake the thoughts away of her own lost memories before he was asking if she went to restuarants or had a steak. She shrugged. "I guess if you count the meat straight from the cow. I've raided a few farms in my day." She smirked, feeling quite proud of her feats. Of course, she'd had a coyote pack at her beck and call then to help her bring down the beast but it was still good. She thought about the foods she had when she went out as a human. Mostly whatever everyone else was eating, except for Frost and his herbivore kick. She would never be comfortable with a salad. When he asked who she hung out with before, she shrugged again. "Coyotes. Not WereCoyotes, mind you. Just plain coyotes. Needless to say, we didn't talk much." She was trying to find humor in the situation so he didn't know just how pathetic she felt for her past. For not knowing what she was for years. When she asked about his former pack, he said they were cool but she had a feeling he was holding things back. Surely he had good stories to tell about his time with them. When she asked if he was up for a challenge, he agreed with a smirk and she mimicked it right back before leading him further into the trees. When she caught sight of the boars burrowing in the mud, she glanced back to him only to see him shrug and say pork would work out nicely. She grinned. "The fresher, the better." When he told her to lead him into battle, she couldn't help but roll her eyes even as she coiled her haunches and tore off across the mud. She circled around the large female boar, barking and growling, lunging in randomly to bite at her hocks only for the boar to scream and kick out before turning on her, trying to charge. Malia kept herself in motion, knowing if she stayed in one spot too long, the boar would send her rolling in no time. She was merely a distraction, looking to Marcelo to get in when the boar's back is turned and take out some of those juicy piglets. |
