South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya could only hope that the man that the twins had taken a liking to, or at least Izzy, would be able to help them with their fear of water. It was unheard of and odd for the young mother, not knowing how to get her young to like the water. No one in her pack had the discomfort with for to know how to help them. Her coaxing had done very little besides getting them to shin depth, beyond that, they distrusted the safety of it. Once Nadya had managed to help them get changed and their trainer vests on she ushered them to the bleachers to wait for Asthon's arrival. The four year olds stuck closer together perched on the metal, eyeing the water and the swimmers making their back and forth laps.

Ashont's arrival caused Izzy's delicate features to brighton slightly, offering him a soft smile. She remembered him from the beach and his surfboard even though it had been some time since then. "Good morning." Nadya responded, her smile near mirroring her daughter's. Izzy's smile did falter slightly when Asthon too slipped into the water. Everyone seemed to be in on the swimming lesson. "I didn't tell them they were going to be swimming today. We wouldn't have made it into the car, let alone the building otherwise." Although she hated to spring things on the twins, the battle she had saved herself by not telling them was more important. Gently she took the twins hands and guided them from their place on the bench.

The twins, though hesitant, left their spot and followed Ashton's trail to the edge of the pool. "Go ahead, listen to Ashton, he's your teacher today." Izzy slowly lowered herself to sit on the edge with her feet dangling into the water while Micah simply pressed closer and clung to Nadya's legs. He was practically shaking. Izzy glanced back at her brother though her attention shifted back to Ashton as Nadya took to comforting her son. Izzy picked up the little kickboard Ashton had set on the ledge. "Where's your surf? This one is tiny." She could only remember the first part of the name for the surfboard.

Nadya had managed to calm Micah but part of the compromise in getting him to do it, found herself sitting on the edge beside him with her feet in the water now too. "We're going to watch for a little bit first."
