Nadya listened as Frost indulged her on her musings about yaks. She had never thought about Mongolia as a place to visit. Was there even anything there of significant value to sightsee? Though she knew that would never stop Frost since he enjoyed quiet open land. Frost didn't elaborate on what it was he found and Nadya didn't question about it. It fell in the realm of his work. She frequently struggled between disliking his job and not wanting to hear anything about it to wanting to know what he goes off and does all day.
All Nadya could do was answer Frost's question. The loss of the baby turning her attention on the twins to fully notice how much they had grown. How desperately she felt that she had lacked in teaching them how to be Weres. She fell silent once more, taking a moment before she was composed enough to look up at Frost. Of course she knew there was more to it than that but it was a factor as well. It was perhaps one of the few times in which the roles were reversed. Nadya had been the one to try and lengthen their childhood while Frost insisted on preparing them for the world. His reassurance meant the world to her though.
"I.." She was relatively caught off guard by Frost bringing up the night of the miscarriage. Though that was part of the reason they were there was it not? "You left so soon afterwards...and with not calling...- I thought you regretted having me as your mate. That you didn't want me anymore. I decided to focus on my worry about the twins. When you returned you still...felt...gone. Working all the time. I just continued with the twins." Nadya shifted slightly to bring herself leaning closer to Frost. "But we can be better again; you came and that tells me that you still care. I just think we need to get away from it all...a little restart. It doesn't even have to be somewhere exotic, we could just go to the next town over for a change of scenery."
The soft smile that had begun to tilt the corners of her lips faltered slightly at the thought of trying again. Was she ready for that? Ready for the risk again? Sometimes she wasn't sure her heart could handle it if she miscarried again or if they couldn't conceive again. But...she wanted a family with him near desperately. How had she managed to fall so deeply in love with him? Nadya looked back at Frost, finally breaking from her thoughts to realize the silence surely hadn't put Frost as ease. "...Yes." She finally whispered before leaning forward to brush her lips against his as one hand rested gently at the side of his face. "I would enjoy that." A smirk played on her lips against his as she stole his previous line.
