South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Alexander Macedonia

when I walk into the room there's nothing you can do
To stop me from making moves
I'm coming for you

The oceanic blue of the Macedonian conqueror's gaze intently eyed the bay stallion's gait with each fluid step he took. His General moved effortlessly with his steed's every moment, the demonstration entirely adequate for the new recruits that stood attentively behind him. The Cavalry was always accepting new recruits, Alexander content to expand his ranks and instill a sense of loyalty in as many of his kind as he could. It would, he was sure, prove beneficial in the years to come - his quest for dominion over the world hardly one forgotten, even if the King had been particularly stagnant in the last few centuries. His blue-green gaze swept briefly over the young woman leaning across the fence at the far side of the paddock, though his attention hardly tarried long as Johnathan finished his circle around the confines of the meticulously maintained field. The dark bay Arabian slowed to a halt directly in front of the Cavalry Commander. Alexander stepped forward, his hand gently resting upon the bay's neck in an almost gentle glimpse of affection. Horses, after all, were eternally Alexander's weak spot, whether or not they were Weres. "Very good. Take them to the stables and introduce them to their mounts. At least teach them how to properly saddle up." He commanded, his attention drawn from his duties at hand by the unexpected presence that so curiously watched them. It was rare, after all, for the public to venture down to the Stables, especially with the Center entirely closed to the public.

"Yes, Commander." Johnathan responded, the man tossing his leg over his stallion as he slid off and onto the firm ground once again. Alexander stepped out of the way as his General, the weight of his gaze fully settled upon the blonde - the woman near sticking out in the plethora of finely donned riding pants and button-down shirts that was the Cavalry uniform when armor was not required. The Dark-Hunter was nothing if not terribly purposeful as he strode across the empty field, the congregation gathered behind him were quick to follow his General, the once busy field all but emptying in a matter of moments. Nevertheless, the Macedonian strode across those empty plains, his oceanic eyes settled upon the figure of the young woman. There was something...distinctly familiar about her, though for one of the rare moments in his life, Alexander found himself struggling to place it from his current distance. His mind was quick to dig through the plethora of memories of the man's life and yet, he was quite certain he hadn't met a blonde fae who had quite that wistful posture. In fact, it was only until the man was significantly closer that recognition near slapped him in the face, the Hunter entirely inquisitive as to what had occurred to his short term employee. Still, this did explain her rather an abrupt departure from the cafe. The transition from human to...well...something else was never easy, regardless of how it had occurred or if it was wanted (and it so rarely was).

"Beylani?" Alexander half inquired as he approached her, his baritone voice still holding some hint of an unrecognizable accent from his youth. "I did not expect to find you here." Intensely, his stare slid over the woman's slender figure, the Macedonian effortlessly able to place all the ways in which she had changed since he'd last seen her. That once happy inquisitive woman now looked worn and jaded, the world clearly had not been kind to her in her absence, though it so rarely was. "We are closed to the public but...is there something I can help you with?" He inquired as he slowly removed the black riding gloves upon his hands. It was unlikely she would voice a word of the tremulous thoughts upon her mind and yet, what went unsaid was perhaps equally within Alexander's capability to read, in some ways. All it required was one single touch and all the answers to those questions would be his for the taking.
