South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The man sitting at the fountain seemed depressed and somehow, Malia felt she needed to do something about it. If he was just another human down on his luck, she might have walked on by or ignored him, but the pack instinct was strong for her now that she'd found family in Chimera and she felt a pull toward other Were's instinctively. Everything about the man screamed "leave me alone" once she got closer, but the woman was good at ignoring that and continuing to invade his bubble. It was her specialty, after all. She didn't care that he continued to stare at her while she spoke, like he was studying her and frankly, he didn't look impressed. Oh well, she wasn't trying to impress him. Just satisfying her own curiosity, really. And helping him out of his funk, if she could.

He wasn't quick to give an answer, though Malia could be patient (somewhat) in getting one. Instead, he watched her a moment more, then another moment more. Okay, so the woman began to fidget some as she waited. Her lips slowly formed a scowl and she was just about to splash him with some water from the fountain or something, see if that would at least animate him, when the man finally said something. It wasn't much, but she'd take it. His first word was disappointing at best, so Malia tilted her head, trying to coax him to say more. He had to say more than that, right? His voice was harsh like rocks underfoot, like he didn't use it a lot. Then he said more and this time, the WereCoyote had a feeling that was all he was willing to give her at this point. She smirked at him, brown eyes lighting up with the challenge. "I knew it. I'll get it out of you eventually. We should go on a run together. The woods look rather inviting, don't they?"

Nudging her head toward the trees, the woman watched for his reaction before continuing. "Or I could find some other way to coax it out of you..." Now, luckily for Malia, not many people cared to look toward them or watch what they were doing. Just two people talking at a fountain, after all. So as her face morphed right before his eyes into a replication of his own, she only smirked wider. "What do you think? Can I pull it off?" The gravelly voice came out to match his own perfectly as she tilted her head.
