Her teeth nibbled delicately upon the bottom of her lip as Chizue considered for the millionth time how ill thought out her plan for feeding surely was. Perhaps it was best to return to her home rather than attempt to take on the boisterous crowd of the boys. She was oblivious, in that moment, to the way her hesitancy showed within her very demeanor as she lingered uncertainly within her spot. Any other vampire would have undoubtedly jumped at the opportunity to feast unhindered - any other vampire but Chizue. The sudden offer for assistance from the seemingly young girl in front of her caught the demure Asian off guard. Such a willingness to help from an unfamiliar vampire was...almost unheard of. Their species was not often inclined to be terribly friendly, much less to go out of their way to assist another with something that should come so naturally for them. A soft breath left the young woman's lips as she considered her options before slowly nodding in agreement. Some assistance would certainly be better than Chizue's continued starvation, even if it was self-inflicted from a persistent paranoid fear.
The sort of 'help' she needed, however, was perhaps a bit atypical then most of her kind. There was no need to scatter the group of boys, no need for a single drop of blood to be spilled or a single scream of terror. All Chizue needed was one, singular touch. How quickly the young child before her made that connection - one that most did not often do. "You...you've met others?" She inquired with clear credulousness. This was the first time the young vampire had ever been told there were more vampires like her! Ones that fed on emotions and life itself rather than the red substance that flowed through the veins of all. How many questions she suddenly found herself having! What had this other psychic vampire like? Had the child kept in touch with them? Could she find them again? Her attention snapped back to the present as the child-vampire saw fit to introduce herself properly. Her own name was offered immediately in response, those polite niceties so long since drilled into her. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Anna-Marie. I am Yumi Chizue."
She watched as Anna-Marie slipped from the swing, her feet planted firmly on the ground as the seat still moved gently back and forth behind her. The deep, chocolate hue of her gaze turned towards the bench and the boy that Anna-Marie gestured to, only for the Asian woman to nodd in clear understanding. The child-like vampire wasted no time in heading towards the oblivious group of boys. She seemed so...purposeful. So full of a confidence that Chizue hadn't had since before her turning. Chizue watched as Anna-Marie approached, wholly unnoticed, only to stand in front of the boys as they stared so attentively down at their phones. Her keen ears were capable of picking up the child's voice, even from this distance as Anna-Marie made every effort to seem exactly like the child she looked rather than the centuries old vampire she so clearly was. The boy's attention upon her, however, was the exact cue that Chizue needed. Softly, she inhaled, so clearly steeling herself as the girl reminded herself that this was really no different then walking on stage at the concerns she used to perform in. She nodded to her own mental reassurance as she stepped forward, moving easily behind the boys and towards the bench that they sat upon.
Her head reached out shakily, only to brush gently against the boy's shoulder with a featherlight touch. The very vibrancy of his aura was near intoxicating as she drew it in towards herself, letting that youthful recklessness overwhelm her demure persona. That shift within the girl's demeanor was near instantaneous as she presented the confused boy with an easy smile. "Oh, you found her! Anna, I was looking everywhere for you! Sorry, I hope she wasn't like....a bother or something." She rolled her eyes as if she couldn't be bothered to be terribly concerned with her young charge. "Come on, Anna, let's go." She held out her hand to the seemingly young child, her fingers finally leaving the boy's shoulder. He yawned, that stealing of his life force was surely tiring to the boy and yet, with his aura now so firmly her's, the Chizue version of him cared particularly little.
