South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch had known from the beginning that fraternizing with any kind of dark hunters was generally a dangerous business to engage in. This one, however, seemed to be an entirely different level of perilousness. There was something about him, some glimpse beneath that crude facade of hostility that captured Serafina's attention, causing her to childishly risk her life. The disgruntled tone only caused the female to shrug ever so slightly, hardly finding it necessary to respond. If she could do it once, there wasn't any doubt that she could do it again....at least, that's what she tried to tell herself. She fell silent, her stormy gaze intently settled upon the man as her head tilted inquisitively to the side. Serafina could tell that he was contemplating his chances of her murder once again. In a way, it was almost endearing that he viewed her as such a threat when the reality was that she fell so desperately short of being any kind of threat, especially with the peculiar emotions he managed to invoke within her. It was certainly that truth which caused her woeful tale to come spilling from her lips, despite his closed off position and distinct notion of disinterest.

It was with some hesitance that Serafina finally admitted her underlying desire to see the peculiar fellow again. There was something mystifying about their previous meeting that held steadfast upon the young girl's memories, leaving her incapable of forgetting the man who should have killed her. The corners of her mouth twitched upwards at the sardonic tone that laced his masculine lyrics. "I could see why." She replied simply, choosing not to comment on his brash nature. It didn't bother her, perhaps not in the way it should have but the young girl had long since gotten used to the disgruntlement of men. It was the only thing Serafina knew. "You're a lot like him." She commented at the mention of her mentor. He seemed to be constantly telling her about her faults much in the same fashion. "Except with the whole wanting to kill me part." Serafina added in an afterthought, ignoring entirely the mention of the wolverine that had saved her. She hadn't seen the dog since and quite frankly hadn't been bothered enough by the wolf's absence to comment on it either way.

Her head tilted to the side at the distinct sound of a ringtone, her lips pressing together momentarily. Her gaze followed him upward as he leaned against the tree beside her, her eyes following the shifting of his locks and briefly her grey tinged gaze softened. He was handsome, of that even Serafina could not deny. She listened to the agitation within his tone as he spoke to whomever it was on the other line. Despite his demand to wait, Serafina was quite certain that this was the end of whatever encounter she had wished. She watched him disappear through the trees and with a soft sigh leaving her sweet heart lips, the young woman slipped the doll she'd held so carefully into her bag, willing enough to grab her things and simply leave in the same fashion he had.

Fortunately for her, before she could so much as move to stand, he'd come whisking back towards her with nothing but the slightest disturbance of air to announce his return. One moment he simply was just there. With a surprised look upon her features, Serafina watched him settle beside her tree with a pizza, of all things, upon his lap. Her eyebrow raise ever so slightly as he moved to devour the entire thing until, suddenly, the girl felt his gaze settle upon her again. Her attention fell upon the offered piece of pizza. His words brought a soft, short laughter to her lips. "Now who's the one who doesn't listen." She teased, reaching out to take the offered piece. Her fingertips brushed ever so briefly against his as she took the slice from him, ignoring entirely his demands that she sit all the way over there. Instead, she remained settled were she was, eying the toppings on the slice.

With a featherlight touch the young witch reached out to pluck a small black-green colored ring from the hot cheesy surface of the pizza. Serafina scooted closer towards the hunter and his box, depositing the olive on another piece of his pizza. She was oblivious to his attempts to remove her from his vicinity, instead focusing on removing the olives from her pizza before she actually took a bite from her piece. Her attention shifted back towards him as he started to speak again but rather then taking offense to his attempts to put his whole evening upon her, Serafina offered him the smallest of snorts. "Oh you poor thing." She offered as a rebuttal, her lack of sympathy quite obvious. After all, this hardly seemed like a bad evening for her and he could just of well have left at any slightest moment, of that he'd already shown her. No, there was a part of him that wanted to be here just as much as she did, even if he was denying it. It was that which captured Serafina's attention. It was that which she wanted to know more of.
