We all need someone that helps ground us. Raven was always a creature that kept her head from the clouds. There was no time to sleep and escape the cruelty of her world and allow herself to have dreams. All she had were nightmares which caused her need to sleep slack off. Only when she was beside her spotted feline friend did she close her eyes and see nothing but darkness. Though if he was not there she would simply succumb to her nightmares and lose a decent amount of sleep. Even during the day she did not stop and day dream. All she wanted was the pain to stop and even when she wasn't under their rule of thumb, there were still unhealed invisible scars. There was no time to stop and think about the joys one can find living here in Sacrosanct. Not when there were Hunters about, wayward vampires that wished to enslave the Were race, or even their own kind attacking one another for territory. One had to be prepared and ready to defend themselves should they look over their shoulders and find danger in their path. Sadly Alexis hadn't been introduced to these certain things in a safe way. Why their first meeting was when both canines were being chased by a Hunter Sacro's friendly way of saying hello to its new inhabitants. While the two continued to walk for the outskirts the curly haired woman continued to walk at the young woman's side.

"Sometimes running away isn't an option. You are already small and so whomever is trying to kill you will automatically not see you as a threat. You will be seen as a weakling...they will assume you are at a disadvantage...your job- make them still believe it."

As the two walked she would keep an eye on the girl noticing how she flinched when her arm brushed beside another person. Raven could not look down from Alexis for doing such a thing. She always flinched when she was near a male, and nearly shirked away when she would brush up against them on accident, and it had taken her awhile to stop doing that when Tobi touched her. When they reached the edges of the woods her form would instantly bend down as that familiar change began to take place. With minor pain she felt her bones shift and move and beside the young woman was the oddly marked lupine. As soon as the girl morphed into her vixen form she would stand up on all grey paws her banner swaying side to side in an eager manner and relaxed manner.

"So, I am going to chase you and I will stay in this size. Your job isn't to outrun me, but outsmart me. I need you to be clever...to trick me as I try to snap at your heels...don't be afraid of attacking me- we heal. Besides...I don't expect you to do much damage anyways to my face it is already ruined."

Her appearance wasn't necessary something she was proud of and since it was already ruined she never gave it much thought. Weres were supposed to heal from anything, but there was a reason why the scars remained on her pale flesh. The whole exercise was supposed to be a teaching lesson for Alexis. It did not matter if she got hurt, so long as Alexis was safe and learned her lesson, Raven would be satisfied. Bringing her head back up her form upper torso would lower to the ground as her banner swayed side to side, teeth barred as in a manner meant to install the natural fear for the fox to move away. Politely through pointy teeth did the she-wolf bark out an order.

"Run."
