The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Standing there quietly behind the ebony tiger the lupine simply stood watching the other cautiously. Even though she barely knew the girl, and although she helped her a few nights ago, she was still wary with anyone she came in contact with. Her lack of trust was so heavily present and it really wasn't her fault that she assumed anyone near her would simply want to harm her. It had taken Tobias months to slowly weave that thread of trust for the two of them. It was difficult for the lupine to extend some sort of trust to others, but she was trying. By approaching the tiger it was her own way of showing that she was trying. The silent chuffs coming from Regan caused the girl to simply tilt her head in confusion. This was not a sound she was familiar with and yet it didn't seem too threatening. Grey tipped banner swayed side to side hearing Regan's words invade her mind. The larger lupine watched as the ebony tiger stepped towards her, rubbing her cheek and side into her chest. Shaking her head a soft sigh came out of her muzzle as she allowed the tiger to do what all cats do. Knowing Tobi wouldn't appreciate her smelling like another cat she made a mental note to fix this and wrap one of his blankets around her to keep his scent. Softly her voice pressed into Regan's mind. "You cats...and your touching. You musn't get too much of your scent on me...Tobias wouldn't like that." While the tiger began to wade in the river the she-wolf would simply watch the other. Grey-trimmed ears swiveling atop her cranium listening to typical sounds of the creatures that go bump in the night. It was not uncommon to hear the sounds of Were's roaming the forest, some by themselves, others in packs, and it wasn't a surprise if there was a fight going on. Earlier that evening she managed to evade the blonde male hunter and his traps. Her attention on the tiger was replaced by catching the sounds of her kind howling at the moon. Her grey banner curled around her grey paws, nervously, not liking the fact that her species still existed in these parts. The last werewolf she saw was the male that provided her and Tobias a job, and she only took it so she could make sure Tobias was safe. Wolves, as she learned, weren't so very trusting. Her attention on the howls was broken as she heard the plop of a fish falling to her paws. With a wolfish grin she threw at the tiger she easily gobbled up the fish, licking her jaw as she casually stepped towards the stream, her eyes looking for the familiar silver scales. "So...how do you like it around here so far?" Raven |
