South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Oh mercy, will it overcome us

As the situation began to unfold, Bethel felt fear draining from her body as quickly as the blood pooling from her thighs. The dissipation of her fear was more than probably due to the immense trauma causing exhaustion after the initial adrenaline had waned, leaving the woman at a loss for reality and dignity. Although the male vampire seemed callous at first, he began to become intrigued with why there was an anaconda in the city; little did he know, she was not from the city, and she often wondered why she was there, too. The thoughts began waning with her energy, leaving Bethel to lay back against the concrete and pavement in order to retain consciousness. What situation could possibly be worse? Leaving her care in the hands of unknown vampires didn't feel too safe, and Bethel felt a desperate wish for anyone else gently edge its way into her mind.

The female vampire seemed to have wits that were beyond the male. He spoke with a confident ease that Bethel could only attribute to the cockiness of a long life. His experiences surely fueled this confidence, but even so, the woman didn't like it. As the female implored the male evidently named Damon for a towel from the car, Bethel felt a breeze of relief touch her briefly, but only to fade as quickly as it had been aroused. The towel provided the dignity she had lost with the collision, although it didn't take away from the sudden shame she felt in her plea for the vampires not to eat her. What's a girl to do? The idea was fairly delusional, brought on by the immense pain emanating from the injuries to her legs. Bethel fought the urge to shift to her reptilian form once more, desiring the comfort that the animal's skin gave her but she knew all too well that the discomfort that the shift enforced would be too much for her... and the woman wanted to keep herself awake.

At the female vampire's suggestion, Bethel shuddered. Drink her blood? The idea was more than minutely repulsive, especially as she wasn't generally in favor of vampiric abilities. Evidently, there were no healing powers to the woman as Damon had inquired, which made Bethel even more skeptical as the blood began surfacing from the two small marks created by fantastical fangs which had appeared from within the woman's mouth. She shuddered, turning her head away from the sight of the woman's wrist. The healing properties of the blood were unnatural, and nothing she wanted to put in her own body regardless of the relief it may bring. With a hesitant, short exhale of breath Bethel didn't realize she was holding and her eyes remaining shut, the woman realized that there was someone she wanted to see for help. The young witch who had provided her amulet... she would know what to do, wouldn't she? The witch had all sorts of potions in her shop, and Bethel was sure that she would have the knowledge to create some kind of elixir that would provide reprieve, even if it was not immediate.

"There...There's a w-witch in the c-city... She makes potions... She h-helped me before..." The Were trailed off, leaving the rest of the information hanging in the air, hoping that the vampires might make sense of her description as she didn't quite remember the witch's name. Would they at least have some idea? After all... this wastheir fault...
