South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

For a moment still the violet gaze of the stallion continue to rest upon the wolf, watching as the animal grew only further complacent beneath the weight of his own power, removing his gaze from the wretched creature only when he remained content upon her sedation. Perhaps her mind would find some way to return to itself, the equine careful not to afflict her too heavily lest he freeze her internal organs entirely and set a chill of death upon her. How easy it would be, hmmm, how much does this city truly require a wolf such as this? Then again, to anger this other pack would be...imprudent- at least for now. His attention returns in due course to the fox hole, violet gaze watching beneath that thickened forelock before his voice rings out and towards the cowering animals within, those frosted vocals laced with a thin layer of command that seems so readily answered by at least one of the foxes- the vixen crawling free from the hole to very near lay at his feet in a manner entirely....pleasing to the towering war horse. Obedience really was a dying trait these days and it truly is pleasing to someone respond to an Alpha's call. Her fractured words see the stallion's head lower down and towards the fox, nostrils flared to register the unique scent of this particular girl, that salty, metallic scent of blood registering within his mind with noted displeasure. Was every able-bodied Were in this cursed city injured?

I can see that.

It was merely a musing of sorts, those ever cool lyrics parted from his lips before any further words are cut off by the arrival of the second fox, this one far less willing to be so obliging and indeed for a moment the equine is given to feel the faintest tendril of agitation at such an outspoken little whelp. It would seem however, that this fox is not entirely useless, Frost content to merely observe at the healing that occurs between the pair before the second vixen becomes oddly content to accuse him once more as his gaze follows her own back towards the sedated wolf- a snort of sorts parting from him.

She is merely a little sedated until her mind returns to itself, I will hardly kill her, I see no point in that- yet.

It is with this almost unspoken promise that the man at least begins to withdraw his chilling hold upon the lupine, a steady, slow withdrawal so as not to shock her system entirely, allowing heat to return to her limbs in a gradual increase as that unusual gaze remained locked upon her, watching the creature with due wariness for any signs of return to her mentally incapable state before the horse merely returns his attention to the true object of his interest- the foxes. It is rare to find a fox, much less two and while one seemed rather inhospitable, the other seemed far more willing to entertain him as what may well have been the shadow of a simper seemed to cross his lips- attention held near entirely upon Claire now.

I don't believe we were properly introduced, though I hardly blame you for fleeing from the rabid wolf- the larger predators are so wholly untrustworthy now aren't they? I'm Frost.

His words remain level, even, smooth in their baritone sound as he presses them upon her, that note of dominance existing still within every lyric and the stance of the stallion himself, neck arched over in a manner that saw each muscle ripple and gleam beneath that white gold pelt and thickened mane. He paused only long enough for the vixen's reply, waiting on the offering of a name as those feathered feet pressed closer to the pair, one ear remaining trained upon the wolf all the same.

How did such a little creature like you end up so alone out here in my part of the forest, hmm? This city is hardly kind to those whom desire to travel alone, in fact, that wolf is part of rather a large predatory pack whom hunt in these areas.

He merely allows such information to rest, momentarily, silently, increasing the cold upon the wolf once more to prevent any argument to his words on her part, besides, they were hardly untruthful now. Such a little fox should hardly be alone with such predators about, predators whom are clearly unstable enough to attempt to consume her, Frost holding no qualms with using Raven's feral mind against her now, the wolf clearly having shown signs of....instability all on her own.

If you believe you will be just fine all on your own, Claire, then feel free to wander in and out of this area, although I may well be willing to allow you to keep within my company if having somewhere safe to sleep appeals to you- unless you prefer that hole. I grow tired of these larger predators and I think it is time there was another option when it comes to pack- such an offer extends to you too.

His head inclines briefly towards Alexis now, though he holds little belief of her willingness- at least in this moment, if she should take a little more persuasion, then so be it, for now however he is content to remain...polite.

How many times has that wolf tried to consume you, hmm? You would be better without her, I think.

One eye simply lifts and little else, attention returned to Claire now and the true focus of his desire. A fox to add to his collection would be...pleasing, though if she wishes to attempt to survive alone, then so be it, he will merely take amusement in watching her be chased by leopards and panthers and wolves.

The choice is your own, but if you'd like to survive I think I can offer you that.
