South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

It is a shame that Dark Hunters are willing to bring harm and injury to those that are completely innocent, be they supernatural or not. Dark Hunters are supernatural creatures and yet they allow their own kind to live while killing others. It is not her fault, she thinks, that she was born to be a werewolf. She did not choose this life. Some Dark Hunters chose to be this way and some were made on accident. Even though she killed her own pack she did not think she deserved to be hunted down like prey. Raven does not go around and purposely harm others for enjoyment. One of the things she learned at a very young age was to not bite humans. One bite from a Were and a human would be turned into a wolf and that was something that was just not accepted. Believe it or not, but blood, species and lineage was important to Weres. These things were as important as the days of old when the hierarchy would look through scores of bloodlines in order to ensure the perfect family blood line that tied good fortune of all kinds together. Her pack was under the legend that they were the first Weres that could turn into wolves. The medallion she gave to Tobias was meant to be worn by any Alpha of her pack, a sign that showed their hierarchy not just within their species, but amongst other wolves and more importantly, other supernatural creatures. But all of that didn't matter to her. What did matter to her at this point was keeping herself alive and helping this inane fox girl from getting killed.

With the shadows still swirling around the two it provided them cover and protection when the Hunters attempted to shoot at them. Grey paws left light impressions on the ground below, grey ears swiveled back and forth to pick up any noise. Dodging through the thick brush and trees her pace would not slow down as she only picked up the pace even faster. All the lupine knew was that they needed to move quickly and the fox's legs were far too low to the ground her small stature inhibiting their escape. While they ran she noticed the familiarity of this particular spot. Hunters always had traps here and for the most part she had found them in her previous travels. With a rough bark she would move to the outer part of the clearing, her head turning around, making sure the fox was following her and not running through the middle of the meadow. A loud cry and snap of bone could be heard from one of the Hunters and it was at this moment the larger canine turned around sharply and stood. There in the distance one of the Hunters had managed to run into a trap, the ground falling from underneath them and that loud snap sounded like some sort of bone broke. The other Hunter was far too busy trying to help their comrade out and with the Hunters unable to follow them she didn't waste any time to turn around and flee. After running a few lopes she would come to a complete stop within the deeper part of the woods far from the Hunters and perhaps any other living thing. Dropping the heavy tome from her jaws the lupine would turn around, eyes narrowing on the fox as she threw out her question and lecture.

"You really should learn to be more careful. Don't you have a pack or something?"

"talks like this"
