Winter had sucked. There wasn't a single aspect about the blistery season that Tetradore enjoyed. He hated the way that the cold penetrated through his skin and clothes straight to his bones. He hated the way the snow melted into his shoes and that no matter how many layers of cloth he put on, it was never enough to stay warm. It was perhaps all that he abhorred about winter that kept the male from stepping foot into the outskirts of the metropolis though if he was asked after it he would have claimed the game would have been too scarce for his pack to begin with. Now that spring had reared her head to melt away the ivory that covered the city, even Tetradore had to admit that it was time. It was time to get out of the Ark, it was time for the pack to come together as a family that they claimed to be. He had put it off for too long, he could feel the tension within the air and it was that which surely made him hesitant about this evening. His siblings transgressions still made ripples throughout his pack. He had sensed the awkwardness within the wolf at even the mention of a pack gathering just as he too had observed the protectiveness of the tiger towards the canine - their friendship going far deeper then he had ever anticipated it to.
They were hardly the only ones that Tetradore fretted for when it came to such a reunion and yet, bringing the pack together was a necessity regardless of the consequences it might hold. His sister was right in that one aspect. They were a family. They were fractured and he had let it linger for far too long. Tonight would be their chance to become whole - to become one under the lull of the full moon. A soft growl left the man's feline vocal cords as he stepped off the Ark, his head rising ever so slightly towards the pale lunar sphere. It was hardly difficult for him to access that inner bond that connected the man to each of his pack members. It only took a moment for his presence to invade their minds, for his command to coax them from whatever they were doing. He called them too him from all across the city, leading each and every one of them as he made his way towards the outskirts of the town. Tetradore knew they would arrive in their own time, just as he too knew that each and every one of them were coming, even his sibling - all that was left to do was for the man to wait.
The ebony feline slinked through the trees, his claws digging into the bark of nearby elm as the man hefted himself from the ground up into one of the firmer branches. Tetradore slowly lowered himself to the thick tree branch, his tail flicking ever so slightly as his emerald eyes scanned the edges of the forest, waiting and watching for those wandering souls that he claimed as his.
