The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I know Kohl didn't know my middle name before now but it's not like we have conversations about our names. I don't know his middle name either. Of course we're both still very new to the whole relationship thing so maybe we're still learning about what we should and shouldn't know about each other. Maybe we should have just sat down and played twenty questions or something. When I mention never being to Paris, I can pretty much sense he's staring daggers through my skull. I'm sure it's all he can do to hold his tongue and keep from mentioning that I have been to Paris before. I admited it to him back in his house but I really want him to stay quiet right about now. Thankfully he must be using his brain because I don't hear any responses. To say the hug from Etienne is suprising would be the understatement of the year. I'm not a touchy person. The only reasons I've ever had to touch someone before meeting Kohl was to kick their ass and kill them or seduce them only long enough to kill them. There was never an in between. I use the excuse of bags in my hands to keep from having to return the gesture but I can't stop my body from becoming tense the moment he touches me. I offer him a smile as if apologizing when he releases me though. I haven't shown Kohl my true zest for research either and when he first mentioned his friends to me, I did some deep studying. I feel like I know everything about them and one of those tips was that Etienne is an avid collector of sports cars. And so I went on a marathon of searching sites to find out everything I can to further charm his friends. I've never had to worry about anyone liking me before but with Kohl, I want them to like me because of him. I feel pitiful for it but it doesn't change facts. Since I hope for him to be in my life for a while, that means I need to actually have some kind of relationship with his friends too. That means I actually have to get them to like me so that's exactly what I plan on doing. Again I can feel Kohl staring at me though this time I think I like the attention. Once we walk toward the vehicle, he starts to speak and i can't help but laugh softly under my breath. I raise a brow at him teasingly. "I know a fair bit." I admit with a playful smirk. I sigh. "Oh, I think we've been spending our time doing things a little more productive than car talk." My eyes glitter mischeveously now, sure that his dirty little mind will be following my talk. As he moves into the passenger seat, I catch his scowl and snicker. He's not that used to being a passenger instead of a driver, I would wager. I put on my seat belt, sure that I would get scolded if I didn't because no matter how recklessly he drives, he always seems to think of safety anyway. I can feel him watching me and I smirk to myself. I kinda like it. I move the car smoothly into traffic. I've had to drive in all kinds of situations so this is certainly not anything new to me. In fact, fast sports cars that purr when you start them are my favorite kind of mission vehicle cause it makes car chases all that more fun. At least he seems to relax some as I keep driving, apparently letting himself trust that I'm not going to wrap us around a pole. His simper is caught at the corner of my eyes and at his question, I laugh again, glancing at him. "I don't know...is it?" I bite my bottom lip playfully as I look back to where I'm driving. He raises a brow and lays back in the seat, further relaxing. His eyes roll and I find my skin burning up at his next words. I shift in my seat, still not completely oblivious to the anticipation of his body against mine. I have an open mind and I can surely imagine some of the things he knows of the French. "Oh really?" I ask with a smirk. I look up as we take a turn, noting the majestic view of the Eiffel Tower. I agree with him that I don't see anything romantic about it but I do think it's a cool looking building. I listen to his directions, glad just to know that he'll probably be second guessing if I will or not because of what I said earlier. I can always enjoy getting him lost later once we're just out exploring alone. For now I'll keep him relaxed and let him enjoy his time with his friends. I knew he was going to ask that question so when it comes, I sigh and shrug. "Because from my quick encounter with your friend, I'd say Elena likes to be right about everything. If I were to divulge that I know Paris like my back hand, I'm sure she'd take it as a challenge just to one up me and prove her dominance over what she considers her territory. But if I claim ignorance, she'll only have a chance to earn my gratitude when she plays the knowledgeable hostess that gets to show and tell everything about her home. It's a matter of playing the system, Kohl." I wait for him to either disagree or add his own two cents in. I'm just going off of what he told me before coming here and what I found out through meeting her so maybe I'm completely wrong about her but I have my doubts. I listen to his next instructions, making sure to eye any pedestrians or bicyclists that get too close. When he mentions my name, I shake my head. "I wouldn't know since I don't remember my grandmother.I probably only saw her a handful of times before my family got killed and Victor took me in." I say it lightly, my eyes only able to watch the road instead of him for now. He tells me his name then and I smirk, glad that he's not wanting me to expand on the information. I do like hearing the information about his parents though. It's kinda heartwarming to know they fought like normal people. I give him a genuine smile. "I would have liked to meet them, I think. At least to see what parents are supposed to be like." I know he doesn't think of his parents as good ones but at least he had some, even if they were absent for most of his life. At his next comments, I laugh again and continue looking ahead. "Fine, then my favorite color is red, my favorite animal is a fox, and my favorite food is hotdogs." I smirk, waiting for his response. "You?" I figure it's only right that I know the same information. His next words have my mischeveous side back out. I laugh again. "Then we should remedy that as soon as possible. Perhaps another daytime jaunt once we assure yor friends we can safely drive their car from point A to point B?" I give him a knowing smirk, sure that he'll be anticipating it as much as I am. I listen to his next instructions before I sigh and roll my gaze back over to him. "Are we there yet?" I ask in a whiny tone just to get to him. |
