The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon


The older the twins got the more enjoyable the whole being a mother thing became. Nadya was no longer a prisoner of the apartment or being trapped within her human skin on the full moons. No, now the twins took on their animal form with her and followed her around. Tonight was one such night that Nadya wished to be outside where the thoughts of her tumultuous pack could be pushed aside and allow the children to play without worry. With new Weres cropping up Nadya didn't want to risk taking them into the woods where danger could be lurking about every bush. Instead the young mother had chosen the park where it was very much accepted indeed for young to explore. Of course said young was usually human.

While the foot traffic at the back of the pack where the jungle gym playground ended and the path to the gardens began was low due to the late hour of the night, it still wasn't completely deserted. Luckily most people didn't care or at least knew better than to just approach a panther and her cubs. Nadya's ebony feline form lay on her side on the packed dirt by the entrance of the gardens, relishing in the residual heat that the ground had absorbed during the hot day and now was quickly being absorbed by the chilly night, while keeping an eye on the twins. Her golden hued gaze scanned the area to ensure the strangers remain a decent distance away while a soft purr reverberates within her to reassure the twins. Micah and Izzy were both coming into their own personalities which was fun to watch develop and actually made them seem more like a person.

Micah, his coat a replica of his father's golden spotted one and a bit smaller than his sister, always remained closer to Nadya. This was ever the case in this new environment, the passing strangers causing the small kitten to press his form tight against his mother's as he slunk around her. His attention was quickly caught by Nadya's long slender tail flicking against the ground, eagerly attempting to swipe and pounce on it. Isabella, first born and named by Tobias had inherited the pitch black panther coat and much preferred to climb and explore on her own. She was just as independent as Nadya was which later on down the road would probably be the cause of frustration for Nadya. As Micah was entertained by Nadya's tail, Izzy had found a beetle crawling across the dirt. Wide-eyed and curious Izzy toddled after it, smacking it with her paw and watching it flail before continuing on its path to which she resumed following it too.
