South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
It was rare when Serafina admitted the truth behind her current predicament. She had never been one to dwell incredibly on her life's misfortune, having eternally been dealt the reversed wheel of fortune. It was the tarot card that always seemed to depict her life, followed closely by the reversed hermit. She offered only the smallest of shrugs to the Dark Hunter across from her, despite the apology that laid thick upon her lips. "I've managed." She responded with a weak simper across her sweetheart lips. Being a witch was by far the best of all possible scenario - at the very least she could make money for herself being what she was. She was no longer homeless, on the streets, and lost to the world. She'd found some kind of stability amongst it all, the chaos. She had found herself, in some fashion or another. Serafina had almost but entirely forgotten the simple fact that the Dark Hunter meant danger for herself for reasons beyond the aspect their ability to bring death - then again it wasn't as if she had actually paused to inquire of how they chose their targets. Azrael, she was certain, merely killed out of convenience, out of some holy crusade. This - this was another matter entirely.

Softly a sigh left the woman's lips, her head shaking side to side ever so slightly. "No, not off hand." She paused, running her hand through those dark ebony locks. "Honestly, it's probably some client that is unsatisfied with one of my potions not working the way they wanted or maybe one of my mentor's old clients who was unhappy when I refused to continue serving their contract." There was a certain sort of exasperation to her voice even as she admitted such things, her head tilting to look out the window in a distracted fashion. She had never thought taking over her mentor's business might put her in harm of Dark Hunters, not when most were involved in such shady dealings to begin with. This went far deeper then she had thought. Slowly, her stormy gaze flickered back to the woman across the table of her, her head tilting ever so slightly to the side as she listened to the clearly confused voice of her childhood friend. Despite Tamzin's insistence of the gravity of the situation, Serafina hardly seemed as concerned as she perhaps should be considering the news that someone wanted her very dead. It seemed, more often then not, that someone always wanted her dead and yet - here she was.

Her grey tinged gaze shifted as the girl motioned towards the bartender, watching as another clear colored beverage was placed in front of her - her own special kind of poison. She listened in silence to the story of her friend's change, her lips pressing together ever so slightly at even the sheer notion of the devastation that she had been through. She listened as the female insisted on the enjoyment of another beverage, pushing the glass in front of her and slowly Serafina lifted it to clink against her friend's before sipping on the nearly tasteless substance. She put the class back down a moment later, reaching upwards to tuck a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Look, Tamzin - I can take care of this. I know someone on the Dark Hunter council, I'll talk to him and get it all sorted out okay? Try not to worry." She reached out, letting her hand rest upon the woman across from her in a rare display of affection. Perhaps it was the buzz beginning to fill the back of her brain or the warm that coursed through her veins but regardless she found her lips opening again, "Enjoy yourself tonight - I'll keep you safe this time." She stated with some measure of confidence that she certainly wouldn't have had otherwise. It was enough so that she provided a nearly clandestine wink to her friend before her interest was once again picked up by the Vodka in her glass.
