South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He knew what he was getting into - at least, to some degree. The things he saw, the creatures he'd experienced the past few months were straight out of a fiction novel. He couldn't help but to wonder if they had always existed - did he always know of them? Much less, would Henry accept the words he was saying with any hint of truth or would they too be brushed off as little more than the ramblings of the psychotic? He sincerely hoped that Henry wouldn't just write him off as that. Sterling wasn't sure why the notion of being crazy bothered him so much - it simply...did. And so, it was with great apprehension that Sterling begun to speak, his gaze remained steadfast on perhaps anywhere but the befuddled features of the man he inexplicably yearned to take care of. It was only once he finished what he was certain were his last words of advice that the man meekly glanced upwards at his companion, entirely unsurprised to find the denial or the confusion that rested within Henry's steadfast gaze.

In truth, what Sterling hadn't anticipated was the fashion at which Henry managed to grasp upon the one bit of information that Sterling hadn't intended to expand upon - the simple fact that he knew all too well what Henry was going through. He reached up, his hand rubbing at the back of his neck. Maybe it was time to admit all of it? To just lay it all out on the line and allow Henry to dredge through the mess as best as he saw fit. Even if the entirety of the truth might stress the man perhaps just as much as Sterling's efforts to be vague were. It was terrifying, actually admitted the truth to someone outloud, especially since he'd never actually done so before. Up to this point, Sterling had all but avoided. Softly, Sterling inhaled, his gaze momentarily drifting out towards the city before, quietly, he begun his own perhaps warped tale.

"I think it was nearly....three months ago now...I woke up in the hospital with no idea of who I was or how I had gotten there. I was a bit more fortunate then you though, I actually had a wallet in my posession with some kind of remotely meaningful information to get myself started. I found my old job, and they let me back at it for a bit but it wasn't the same. People were constantly expecting me to remember things - things that I had no idea of anymore. So I left and came here. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier, once you have all the basics figured out - but it doesn't. I'm terrified of the dark and I have no idea why. I find myself missing someone, yearning for them and I have no idea who. I can do this-" He paused, his hand reaching out only to birth a small flickering flame within his palm, " - and I have no idea why or how or even what I am. I didn't mean to make you upset, Henry. I just....I just wanted to help because I remember what it was like. I remember how hard it was to not even have a place to feel safe." Slowly, his blue eyes glanced over towards the male beside him, ready to find out just how terrible this was about to go wrong.
