South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Why the hell this crappy looking amulet was so important the hunter hardly knew, even the engraved etching of some sort of cat was old, tarnished, useless to his mind and yet truly Azrael had never held either an eye for or an interest in antiques. The only thing the amulet had done however, was bring about a constant stream of irritation ever since Xerxes had given it to him to 'hold on to' for a few weeks while the man was out of town. The sooner he came back and got it the better. Perhaps it was simply his own oversensitive thoughts, or perhaps it truly was that instinct most Hunters possessed to feel when a certain person or situation was simply not right, either way, Azrael was entirely assured this piece of metal had something wrong with it. He could feel it. As such he had taken to stashing it in one of the empty cupboards of his kitchen- a place he rarely used given his inability to cook and the lack of time he ever truly had to sit down and learn. It had remained there for some time, utterly and deliberately ignored by the often irritable blonde until someone had shown a sudden interest in it. How on earth anyone had come to discover he had it the man hardly knew, ignoring the calls for several days until he had become entirely fed up with the overly persistent man on the other end. It was hardly his item to sell and yet truly if some human (he just assumes human after all) collector seemed to desire it so badly what did he truly care? Xerxes could go and get it back when he desired it and really Azrael found some momentary enjoyment in the thought of displeasing his fellow Hunter. It was curiosity, perhaps, that had finally seen the man agree to meet this so-called buyer. He hardly needed the money, the fact anyone had been willing to pay for an old piece of seemingly worthless metal had simply been another point of amusement. What was the harm in letting Xerxes chase around some Human Treasure Hunter when he got back? It would teach him a lesson, perhaps, for leaving some unholy cursed object in Azrael's home.

He had, with great reluctance, tucked the amulet inside his jacket before stepping out and onto the street, pulling the hood up and over his wealth of near white gold hair, hands tucked into his jeans against the bite of the evening breeze. It is hardly a far walk from his home, the man in no real rush, rounding the corner with ease only to halt himself abruptly, golden eyes narrowing rapidly upon what is decidedly not a human. The vampire was still some distance away, seated upon the bench outside the diner as agreed and yet this......rather changed things. One of his own menagerie of powers activates quickly, the faintest, softest glow of light illuminating his form, one the man dulled as much as he possibly could though one the keen eyes of a vampire might surely notice all the same. A faintly glowing appearance however was hardly the point of this particular endeavour- more so the Hunter simply moved to block his aura, preventing the Vampire from identifying him as a Hunter, preventing him, in fact- from identifying Azrael as anything. It would be decidedly unusual to the vampire all the same and yet without the instant alert of 'hunter' it should prevent the vampire running all too quickly. After all- this entire escapade has become suddenly and decidedly more interesting. What did a vampire want with an amulet? Perhaps it didn't even matter- he'd simply found something to kill and that alone was enough to satisfy him.

The barest ghost of a smile traces the man's lips as he steps suddenly forward one more, striding purposefully towards the vampire now. Even dark as it was growing this street was still....busy, too busy truly, he'd have to make some attempt in the least to lure the vampire to somewhere a little more quiet- perhaps. No, killing him straight out would prove....problematic. At least in this moment. One hand reaches up to easily pull back the hood of his jacket, golden blonde hair falling into his equally golden gaze as he move to brush it aside absentmindedly, coming to a stop to the side of the vampire- arms folded across his chest (if only to prevent him reaching for a weapon) as he took a moment to briefly eye the other man. He'd never seen this one before.

"You've got the money right?"

His eyes moved to meet the gaze of the other, one lifting ever so slightly in anticipation as if this was a situation he was entirely used to being within, form exuding a calm control- if not an slight undercurrent of boredom.

"What do you want with a medallion anyway? It doesn't do anything, you know that right?"

His voice has taken on something of a more colloquial taint, Azrael quite content to play the role of ignorant being for now, though the question is far more pointed then it appears, a backward way perhaps, of attempting to find out exactly what this amulet was and why a vampire wanted it. Might as well see if any of the information was useful before killing him after all.
