The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Samantha Cassidy
Samantha merely stood and watched as the child vampire seemed to brighten from her feeding. She'd been so weak, so close to insanity in her search for blood. Her emotions intensified with her power returning to her, and briefly she remembered Aiden asking her to try to identify what each species' emotions felt like to her. Faeries, she'd realized, were as bright as the sun. In contrast, the emotions of the vampires beside her reverberated with power. It felt as though a string had been pulled tight. The more the child fed, the tighter that string became. Like the child she appeared, her emotions echoed the euphoric joy that she felt as she addressed the male beside her. She gushed about her version of living versus his surviving. And with that euphoric joy that she felt, Samantha's instincts that she needed to survive only intensified. It wouldn't be easy to get away from them, she certainly would have her work cut out for her, but she hoped that their momentary distraction would give her enough time to bolt from the situation. Her only hope would be that they would be distracted enough to give her a head start. After all, it wasn't as though she was particularly fast.
She'd just tensed her body to run when the child vampire's gaze fell back on her. That childlike playfulness only amplified as she observed the faerie girl as though she was her newest doll. "No," Samantha said quietly in response to the child's words. She prepared her body to run when suddenly... She couldn't move. She remained rooted to her spot, unable to flex so much as a pinky or even blink. A rush of confusion went through her body as her mind screamed for her body to move. She wasn't sure how, but she knew the child was behind this. She watched as her hand clenched and the sensation of being controlled intensified. "Please," She croaked out, relieved that her voice still worked, even if it was a struggle to get it to work through the fear that radiated through her.
The magical quality of her blood was hardly something she'd thought of before. But still, despite the tension the male displayed, it was clear that he was also curious to the taste of her blood. She watched in horror as the child commanded him to feed and the way the male tensed ever so slightly with the command. There was not a thing that Samantha could do to stop the situation at hand. They were far enough in the forest that no one would hear her scream even if she tried. And though she felt like screaming in fear, she hardly wanted to give the child the satisfaction of seeing her show her fear. Luckily for her, it seemed as though the elder vampire hardly wanted to feed off the paralyzed faerie girl. If she survived this, she'd thank him if he somehow kept her from becoming dinner. In her mind, Samantha couldn't help but think that this was exactly what Aiden had been afraid of for her. He'd grown to care for her and now she was likely to not survive the night. Still, she was relieved when the male vampire moved away from her and towards the child. His British voice was soothing even to her own terrified ears, and she could only hope that whatever he was doing would stop the inevitable. Though, what Samantha hardly wanted to admit to herself was that regardless of whether or not he fed off her, the child would likely relish in the opportunity if he chose not to.
