South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

It is not until after she'd presented the book to him that Samantha was able to see the true vulnerability of the faerie prince. She is decidedly oblivious to the way his mind sees her gentle touches â€" ones she'd used to attempt to be reassuring to him â€" as romantic advances. The touches are hardly more than the kind she would give a child, the modern girl unaware that the touches would give the elder man any sort of ideas. But Samantha hardly noticed that, instead her mind latched on to those emotions he emitted so readily. That disbelief, that awe, that anger... The emotions are sharp and for a moment Samantha considered revealing her power in order to comfort him, but the way he shoved the book away made her reconsider. After all, he seemed content to wipe the emotions from his features, letting them exist only inside his mind. It felt wrong, in that moment, to reveal her ability. It was clear that he needed those emotions to remain inside, and for now Samantha was content to not show her ability.

Closing the book, she pushed it out of the way and stood, allowing the conversation to segue towards bathing him. If anything, the faerie girl was thankful for something to do, going immediately towards the box of clothing. If she was phased at all by the use of the French lyrics that Dorian used, she hardly responded. After all, the meaning of the words escaped her. Four years of French lessons and all Samantha had to show for it was the ability to say 'I don't know' â€" a very useful skill in a French lesson to avoid questioning â€" and 'Can I go to the bathroom'. Instead, she focused on pressing the pile of clothing into Dorian's arms.

"Yes, it's used. And it's not so bad. It's better than walking around naked. Which, I should point out, I don't allow in my house." The sentence was teasing, though it was clear that the question that followed was hardly that. Still, it caused the corner of Samantha's lip to quirk up in amusement, the girl merely shaking her head. "That is definitely, exactly what I meant." She chuckled. "His name is Aiden, and he's free to come and go here as he pleases, so I'm sure you'll run into him. Be kind to him, or you'll be sleeping outside."

Whether or not Samantha would actually have the heart to make the rather helpless faerie prince sleep outside was rather obvious, though she didn't bother to explain that to him. For now, thinking that the girl might kick him out would be good for him, even if Samantha was far too kind to do that herself. "And no, I'm not married. I have no attention to be any time soon, either." With that, she merely led him towards the bathroom, working to explain everything that he might need to shower before she let herself back out of the room, shutting the faerie into the bathroom behind her.

For a moment, Samantha merely stood outside the bathroom, clearly confused as to how she'd found herself in this situation. All she'd wanted to do was go for a walk, not adopt an ancient faerie. But still, now that she'd found Dorian, she could hardly bring herself to turn him away. He was the first faerie that Samantha hadn't found herself weary of from the get-go. There was something about him that made her trust him â€" perhaps it was that no one who got run over by a bike could be a real threat to her â€" and perhaps she could learn something from the ancient man. Or at least, he could be a source of amusement for her.

In the time that Dorian spent in the shower, Samantha had seen about ordering a pizza â€" having decided that the tiny amount of food she had in the kitchen wouldn't be enough for the two of them â€" and had dug through the tiny closet she had for a sleeping bag. She'd set up the bag on the floor near her bed, tossing some extra blankets and one of her pillows on the floor in an attempt to make it look as inviting as possible. It wasn't much â€" she'd have to see about finding another mattress somewhere â€" but for now, it would do well for him. She'd cleaned up the tea from the kitchen and had hidden the book of maps back with her things. Lastly, she'd changed into a simple pair of pajama pants and a tank top, an outfit that showed considerably less skin than she had before.

The instant that Dorian stepped out of the bathroom, Samantha had dissolved into a fit of laughter at his appearance. If she'd thought he looked funny in his period clothing, it was nothing compared to the way he looked in Aiden's clothing. After a moment, Samantha managed to get her giggles under control, only laughing harder at the man's comment about the fitting of the clothing. "No, I'd say not," She laughed, covering her mouth with her hand in an attempt to hide her giggles. Once more, she retrieved an item from the box of her things, going over to him. She fed the scarf through the belt loops with ease, pulling it tight and cinching it in order to keep the pants up. Then, the faerie girl knelt down and rolled up the ends of Aiden's pants up so the poor boy could at least walk.

"There," She said with a grin as she stood once more. "After you get some sleep, we'll get you some better clothes. They'll be used, but they'll fit better at least. In the meantime, dinner should be here soon. You're Italian, right? I hope you like pizza."
