South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Summer was in session. The weather had been warm, but still comfortable. For the past few days Tetradore did not need her for his business and Serafina didn't need her around her busy warehouse now that she had additional helpers. This allowed the young woman quite an open schedule and more time to spend with her boyfriend. He happily took her on many adventures, sometimes wanting her at his side, and other times wanting to go off on his own, but have her close by if he runs into a problem or he needs her to see something amazing, like how a grocery bag is lifted by the wind. Today Tobi required her attendance in the park with him. The boy was currently playing with some children playing 'hide and seek' how the man-child was able to have innocent children trust him enough to allow his presence, she had no idea, but she would sit here in the grass with her book, while he enjoyed himself.

Soaking up the sun she laid down along her grass, propped her elbows up and looked down at her open book. With the way the book's spine was weathered and cracked it was obvious that this was one of those books the curly-haired woman read over and over again. Blue-grey eyes roamed over the words, releasing a silent chuckle when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy had one of their familiar banters, both going back and forth, trying to make the other accept and back away. Some girls dreamed to be treated like a Princess. However, Raven dreamed of living in a time where it was important to know how to dress, how to interact with one another, and who could be an exceptional wordsmith. Oh how it would be wonderful to live in a period like that. Of course she knew she wouldn't be treated well, with how she looked, or her status with her family, but oh how it would be like to watch others interact in this particular life style. It wouldn't be dull at all, but extremely interesting.

As she was engrossed with her book she did not notice the looming shadow of a male figure that was approaching her slowly. In all languages and cultures in this day in age, when a woman was reading a book out in public, that was the universal sign that they wished to be alone and not engage in conversation. It was one thing to ask someone if they liked the book, what it was about, or if it should be recommended, but any other polite conversations such as anything else was highly unnecessary. It would seem that this particular fairy king could use some manners in the real world. As his light accepted voice ruined the peaceful moment, the young woman flinched and her dial would turn upwards, slightly, her golden-brown locks covering the damaged side of her face. Blue-grey eyes shifted to see if there was any one else around, uncertain if this male had some sort of friend that would attack her or steal what little money she had in her pockets. Tobias seemed more enthralled with his game down the hill that she did not wish to call him away and so, muttered softly her response.

"Um...yes?"

It was most comfortable for the girl to by lying down on the grass and having a strange male standing over her. Slowly she placed her bookmark into the book, closing it, as she began to lift herself off the grass, taking an immediate few steps away from the male. She would breathe softly taking in his scent, noticing that it was similar to Sam's, so he was a fairy. When she stood still, feeling a bit better with the distance between them, she pulled her golden curls behind her ear revealing the damaged side of her face. Uncomfortable and feeling vulnerable she mentally kicked herself for not wearing her long sleeved hoodie, the short-sleeved hoodie she wore did not hide the numerous scars that marked and crisscrossed over her arms. Folding her arms across herself with the book resting against her chest, she looked at the male quizzically uncertain why he would ask such a foolish question, but she would reply softly again.

"....I went to school, I don't know where you come from, but here everyone goes to school."
