West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Naddy was sure that, at some point, Jackal would wear on her. She didn't know why the Were prickled her; perhaps it was the way in which he seemed to move slower, every movement rather deliberate in a lackadaisical sense. The young woman's gaze narrowed at the man's back as he wandered out of her room once she shooed him out of the room that was now hers. It wouldn't be impossible to make this plain and bleak space comfortable but Naddy knew it was going to take time.

The first thing she did was strip the bed, tossing the provided sheets and blankets off to the door to ban them later to another space. Naddy set to work pulling her bedding from its container and setting her bed up. She was a firm believer that the bed was the centerpiece of the bedroom and once you set that up then everything else would come together. As she ran her hands over the teal, black, and white designed comforter, smoothing away the wrinkles from being packed up, her thoughts wandered. She kept feeling like she was forgetting something, glancing at her phone, only to find that she was counting the time from her routine with the twins. At this time the twins would be getting up from their nap refreshed and ready for their second half of the day and whatever outing Nadya planned for them or being prepared to accompany her to the burlesque for a few hours.

It felt like her heart was being squeezed by an icy hand every time she thought of the twins. Over the year she had taken on being a mother with every fiber of her being, something she never knew she was capable of feeling. Nadya's jaw tightened as she shook the thoughts from her mind and willed away the pain from her chest so she could refocus on her task. The fact that she was taking on the moving into the new place by herself, without the presence of her brother, her only family, wasn't helping. Not having him to fill the emptiness just made the change feel that much more painful. However, this had been her decision. Aiden hadn't forced her to move in, he had offered, seeming honest in wanting to prove himself as brother and uncle. This separation from the twins was only temporary while she allowed Aiden to prove that change was possible...that was something Nadya had to keep reminding herself.

Nadya had just started to loop her curtains onto the rod when she felt Raven's presence in the doorway before the wolf spoke. She paused in her work to glance up at the girl. "I don't know what sleep is anymore, and I don't think I'll be getting used to that blood sport downstairs any time soon." It was true only because of the twins. Nadya hadn't had a full night's sleep since before their birth which to her old self would have seemed impossible to operate on less than 10 hours. Nadya turned around, stepping onto the wooden chair in front of the desk and stood on her tiptoes to hook the rod up onto its holders so the curtains fell in place over the window. One final look over her handiwork before her attention turned back onto Raven noting with ease that she hovered just outside the threshold that marked Nadya's new territory. "I don't suppose you have any dusting rags? When Aiden said he had a room for me I didn't realize it came with some assembly required. It still smells like bear in here."

The feline and canine would probably never be braiding each other's hair talking guys and shopping but the small menial talk was the first step into not being at constant odds with each other. "The closet also leaves something to be desired. I don't know how I'm going to get my clothes to fit." Nadya huffed a bit, motioning to the closet which was not the walk-in kind she was used to but a simple sliding door one. How she was going to get all her clothes in it was beyond her. Nadya allowed her attention to divert from Raven to resume unpacking, beginning to pull her clothes from one of the nearest suitcases and laying them neatly onto the bed. "You wouldn't happen to know when Aiden will be back from...wherever it is he went? He said he'd help me move today." There was undercurrent in her tone, a tense sadness that he was unable to be there again during this altering time for her.
