The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It truly was a wise decision for Nadya to have placed Samantha with the role of Acting Manager at the burlesque as Nadya's control over the days wasn't suited for the workplace. She also couldn't guarantee that Frost wouldn't show up at the burlesque so it was also a way for Nadya to ensure her brother could not think she was seeking out the stallion. Unfortunately, being cooped up in order to avoid Frost did nothing to ease said difficult control of her shifts due to the emotional chaos. It was a situation of being stuck between a rock and a hard place. In order to attempt to keep her inner feline calm, Nadya went back to a routine of being up during the day and sleeping at night which allowed her to avoid the raucous crowd that invaded the Ark. It hadn't been easy at first to block out the sounds of the fight ring and the hollering of the patrons but, just as Raven had said, her room was further back so learned to drown it out.
Nadya had spent the day in her feline form pacing and sunbathing on the upper deck of the large steel boat. The warm rays made her sun drunk and as the sun set behind the horizon and the first of the customers filtered into the hull she slipped back into her room. It took great effort to shift back into her biped form, the beast within disgruntled by the ease at which the human brain became overwhelmed by emotion and thus preferring the simplicity of the feline form. Nadya raked a hand through her long brunette hair before slipping on a black satin chemise and sliding into bed. She wished for sleep that didn't come. In annoyance and desperation Nadya grabbed a book from her nightstand and settled to sit up in bed to read. She didn't normally read for pleasure, that was Raven's department, but it was certainly an effective way to put her to sleep.
It was in her attempt to find sleep that Tobias came parading into her room rather unceremoniously whereas both her brother and Raven sought to respect her privacy and never set foot inside. The simple presence of another within her territory was the first step to causing Nadya's inner hackles to begin to rise. Nadya's narrowed gaze shifted from the book in her hands to the disheveled man-child that saw it fit to dump both himself on his ratty toy beside her on the bed. Her lip twitched in disgust seeing the stuffed toy, quite sure that with everything Tobias dragged it through that it was harboring the next plague. "I'm trying to sleep." The fact that reading wasn't actively sleeping and thus Tobias perhaps wouldn't understand didn't occur to Nadya as in that moment she held little care on getting him to understand things. While Tobias may have easily forgotten the pairs run-in at the hospital the night that their son was injured, Nadya very much hadn't and still held her head and tail stiff around him.
The fact that Tobias stated Jackal, of all the staff, was requesting her presence was a source of confusion. Just because Nadya moved into the Ark didn't mean she participated in the games or even took part in managing the staff. She stayed far away from her brother's business as he did with hers. So why did Jackal ask for her? Nadya was content to ignore Tobias about the request had it not been for his seemingly continued efforts to drive her from the bed. "Stop that." Her lip twitched in annoyance, eyeing his sprawling form as it inched closer to her own until he pressed against her. However, getting Tobias to stop anything that he was bent on accomplishing was near impossible. The invasion of not just the space of her room but her personal space caused Nadya to abandon her book and bed as the fire of the approaching change flooded her veins. "Ese perro no pudo encontrar su cabeza si no se adjunta." Their native tongue rolled easily from her in irritation. All at once the smooth skin became ebony coat, paws landing silently on the floor, head and tail held high as her narrowed golden gaze turned back on Tobias.
A soft chuff escaped her as she rose onto her hind legs, reaching back up onto the bed to swipe the ragged dog off her bed. With that accomplished she now felt she could go find out what it was that Jackal wanted. Perhaps Aiden had left him a message for her. Barely a backward glance was sent to Tobias in expectation for him to leave her room as well before with a flick of her tail she strutted out onto the walkway. High above the fighting ring she made her way along the steel platform searching for said lackey below amongst the throng of bodies.
