West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

The Englishman could hardly refute the simple fact that with such everlasting immortality came a certain sort of unhurried serenity - at least to a point. His own life had a kind of restraint to it - the man bound only by the hours in which that pale faced sphere touched that nightly sky. It was only in that regard that he might have held some kind of unease. But the night was young and hours still stretched before him till he had to retreat to his sanctuary for fear of his own undead life. And so, the vampiric man strolled with the same notable placid composure as the King at his side, his eyes entirely steadfast upon the man and the inkling that so strongly grasped his idle thoughts. He was hardly oblivious of the fashion in which the man reached up to tuck that far lighter strand back to place - with the unconscious female gone, there was decidedly little to distract the vampire from solely devoting the entirety of his attention to the man at his side. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at Dorian's words, hardly anticipating the vigilance his companion held in regards to the vampire himself. So few had paid enough heed to notice such a thing, themselves often far too spent and thus wholly filled with their own satisfaction.

He paused for a moment before nodding ever so slightly in agreement, his lips parting to expand upon that which Dorian had already become aware of. "It is the blood. It brings me to life, it is obvious, I suppose, but with life comes a whole new level of sensations that are lost upon my dulled senses after just awakening or after enough time had passed between meals." It was by far the most revealing Sebastian had ever been in regards to what those moments after were like for the vampire. It was as if his whole world was somehow more colorful, just after the consumption of other's life forces. Everything was more vibrant, every touch somehow brought more sensation, life was a natural high that Sebastian sought for time and time again - to have a glimpse each night for a few hours of that which had been so abruptly and unceremoniously ripped from him. For perhaps the first time tonight, Sebastian's gaze turned elsewhere beyond the fae that so enamored him. There was a certain sort of personal vulnerability to discussing so blatantly his perhaps more appalling aspects of his life, so few had looked upon it with any favor that it was nearly natural for the slight discomfort that the vampire felt. Regardless, he still strolled at the side of his companion, inquisitive on where such a line of questioning might lead.

At least, until the suggestion that had so lingered upon Dorian's mind finally fell from his lips. Abruptly, the vampire stopped within his tracks, his eyes entirely settled upon the fairy king before him. His own bewilderment at such a suggestion surely must have shone upon his masculine features before they softened into a small, warm simper. He nodded ever so slightly, responding softly after a moment's thought, "That sounds...like a very agreeable idea." He stepped back in line with his companion, trailing beside him down back towards the docks they had come from. In truth, Sebastian could hardly deny that this prospect of 'next time' certainly had managed to delight the man if only because, somehow, Dorian had found a way to venture into a nearly unknown territory for the veteran vampire.

Still, Sebastian paused alongside the fairy as he stopped at the edge of the sand, the man entirely unaware of any meaning behind this simple visitation to the beach. After all, Sebastian himself had spent significant time on numerous shores. He might not have been terribly fond of swimming but there was something altogether soothing of the sound of waves crashing against the shore that so lulled him. Sebastian's gaze fell upon that brilliant simper he was faced with. Dorian's grin was altogether infectious, bringing a smile to his features and yet, the vampire could hardly ignore how utterly beautiful the fairy looked in that moment of glee. The vampire hardly protested as Dorian's hand reached out to pull him into the sand and yet, his own voice responded with a hint of disbelief. "Really? You've never seen the ocean?" He reached down with his free hand to pull off his shoes and accompanying socks, gingerly placing them on the sand next to Dorian's. "Come on." He whispered softly now that his feet rested against the cool granules. He stepped back, his back to the beach as he slowly led Dorian closer towards the shore - just till the point where the lapping waves caressed the flesh of their ankles. This hardly compared to his homeland, much less some of the islands he had visited and yet, it was still something. Vaguely, however, Sebastian couldn't help but to wonder just what Dorian had occupied himself with for over the last five hundred years. Sebastian was but half his age and already had seen his vast share of the world.
