West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

If there was perhaps anything that the faerie girl would likely struggle with when it came to the Were world, it was this notion of possessions. The idea that Raven somehow belonged to Tobi caused the girl's brow to raise. Raven was her own person, of course, belonging to no one and yet Tobi claimed her. She supposed it was a nice sentiment, really, though one that she would have trouble with if she was ever expressly referred to as Aiden's, of course. The faerie girl still found herself so entirely lost within the Were world. Raven told her often that there were customs and rules and things that were followed. She understood that Aiden was the Alpha and that his word was law, but other than that she found she struggled with the thoughts of it all.

The toys that Tobi displayed for her were certainly interesting, the farm animals looking rather like innocent toys even if they were arranged in a decidedly unnerving way. Samantha still offered the boy in front of her nothing but that genuine sweetness that was so engrained in her personality. "You know, I had a set of farm animals that looked like these when I was little. I had a barn that went with it... I loved to play..." Her words were cut off effectively by his insistence that they needed to be protected from the vampires, a word that caused the girl to shiver slightly. It wasn't that long ago that she'd felt the vampire's teeth in her flesh. That night seemed so engrained in her mind, her own fear of vampires entirely present. Still, the idea that Aiden might be afraid of them caused a small smile to appear on her features. No, her boyfriend wasn't afraid of vampires. That was just silly.

"Vampires after you and Aiden. With the faeries that are after me, we all make an interesting trio, don't we."

The faerie girl's tone implied the playfulness she wished to display, though the words were entirely serious. She had not forgotten Frost's warnings, nor would she. She merely turned the bladed horse in her hand, one finger moving to stroke the metal blade. A weapon was likely what she needed, though she was certain she would never be able to use it on another person. And yet... the girls that had attacked her, changed her... they weren't people. They were murderers. Awful, terrible faeries that had taken away the life she'd had before and replaced it with this scary new one. Sure, she was falling into the role with ease now that she had Aiden, but still...

"Tobi," The girl said suddenly, her gaze rising to meet his - or at least as much of his as she could see under that mop of hair. It was that alone that distracted her from her question that she'd been about to ask. His movements towards getting this 'Charles' one that she halts easily, moving to place the bobby pin in her hair. She was certainly not oblivious to the way he tensed. Those teeth he bared or the claws that he showed were given no acknowledgment by the woman. He wouldn't hurt her, of that she was sure. Tobi believed in possessions, and whether she liked it or not, she was Aiden's in his eyes - in her own, entirely another story. She had faith he wouldn't hurt her simply for the want to please the Alpha whose bed she occupied on a semi-regular basis.

It was only when she stepped back did she chuckle, amused by the declaration that he looked like a girl. "You don't," She assured him, smiling softly up at him now that she could actually fully see his face. He was a handsome young man, though she was more apt to refer to him as a boy. There was simply this supposed... innocence about him that she couldn't entirely deny. Still, she gave him no resistance as he stormed out of the room, the girl moving again to sit on the bed as she twirled the horse in her hand, still contemplating the bladed animal.

It was only when the boy spoke - Samantha hadn't even noticed he'd returned - did the girl look up. The toy that had been thrusted at her was one that she didn't want to touch. The ratty animal looked as though it had been drug around through everything, and was likely harboring several diseases. Still, the politeness she was so apt for caused her to reach out, taking the toy and placing it in her lap. She stroked the fur gently. "He's lovely," She replied, though her voice entirely lacked the enthusiasm she'd held moments before. No, the mention of the need for protection had plagued her mind.

"Tobi," She repeated again, this time her voice remained entirely soft. "I have... a problem... I..." She shook her head, knowing full well that this was likely a mistake to admit. "Faeries are after me, and I can't tell... anyone. But I need a way to... protect myself. Do you... have anything?"
