The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He played his game well but the assassin was better. You'd be amazed at the information people would spill after a few threats here and there and perhaps a few broken bones. Vhal would bully him into getting what she wanted no matter the cost, her master had sent her to retrieve a specific poison for a job he wanted her to do. What she didn't understand was why she couldn't just go in and take them out by hand, it was an argument she had almost rose to but thought better of it and kept her mouth shut. His good little dog. Slamming down the memory to lock away before the disdain could spread across her demeanor, she doesn't even glance at him when he requests her name.
"Solarn," she says with a devilish smile into the paper. She was going to make this a living hell for him so of course she offers her last name instead of her first. It felt like a small win for her, anytime he had to address her it would be Miss Solarn instead of just Vhalla it made her smile inwardly at the thought as she scans through the paper, finally finding what she was searching for with a small "A-ha!" With that, Spencer's words go in one ear and out the other, ignoring him entirely as she gathers up the paper and moves back down the glass counter.
Reopening the paper and turning it so he could read the headline, placing it on top of his notepad, she has no need to point it out, her meaning clear, Man Found Dead in Home, and the article went on to describe the death and how he was associated with a gang, so on and so forth. Though she was certain he was a smart boy and could figure it out himself, she simply shrugs and leans against the counter again as if she had the time in the world with a smile that did not reach her eyes. "You know, I could incinerate this store to the ground in a matter of seconds if I wanted to," (and the whole block) she adds silently to herself. Fear flashes through her eyes briefly but she is quick to hide it, scolding herself for not hiding it.
She couldn't control her fire, but she wasn't lying either. "However, I feel like I'm not going to get anything from you with threats," she sighs dramatically and again has the urge to reach out and tug on that tie. She keeps her hands to herself this time. "That being said, what can I offer you in return?" she requests, teeth bared in a devilish grin. "There must be something I can give you," she drawls but her demeanor seemed to say take rather than give. Vhalla couldn't help it, she enjoyed the game but she enjoyed the chase just as much. Perhaps it wouldn't take long for the man to either give her what she wanted or to push him over the edge to reveal something.
