West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was ringing. Loud, incessant ringing and yet the young woman could not understand where it was coming from. Sleep seemed to cling to the fennec fox's form as she struggled to understand the source of the noise. It wasn't until there was a voice added to the mixture of noises that seemed to assault the sleeping woman. "Mmm," Edie groaned, turning her head further into Frost's stomach in her sleep. It wasn't until the shaking started did Edie react at all, moving to swat at him as she opened her eyes. It was then that she realized the way her body had curled around that of her Alpha's, and instantly she jolted back. Oh, how inappropriate it was to hold onto him like that. Her heart seemed to thud so readily in her chest at the realization that she had sought out Frost's body in her sleep, and even worse was how entirely much she had enjoyed it. She was grateful, then, for the phone in her pocket that sought out her attention. She fished it out, working to turn the alarm off. She avoided his gaze until she was sure the blush had crept out of her cheeks, only finding that it rushed back in seeing her Alpha shirtless in front of her.

"You look nice," She commented as he pulled that white shirt on his form. She watched him from her place on the bed as he let it hang loosely, clearly confused in her half-awake state as to why he wasn't finishing dressing himself. It was only when the black box was presented to herself did she move at all from her position, scrambling to sit on the edge of the bed while she held that delicate box in her fingers. "Thank you," she said with a small smile, her fingers moving to pop the lid open and allow herself to examine the necklace that he'd chosen for her. An audible gasp escaped her lips as she looked at the silver and emerald necklace that he'd chosen for her. It was beautiful. Expensive. Exquisite. He had done a wonderful job, and the simper that crossed her features as she looked up at him was an entirely pleased one. "It's lovely. It'll match my eyes."

She'd never mentioned to the blonde that emeralds were her favorite gem for that very reason, and yet he seemed to pick up on things that she didn't tell him so frequently. She placed the box on the bed beside her before she pushed herself to her feet and to the bag that she'd deposited. She brought it with her back towards the bed, placing it on the floor again as she worked to step out of the t-shirt and jeans that she'd worn since he'd dragged her out of bed. Turning her back to him, she worked her way into that elegant black dress. It fit her as splendidly as it had within the dressing room and those sales girls had fussed over her figure within it. She hadn't wanted their appreciation, really. It was Frost that she cared for now, and it was his affections she would hold for the entire weekend they spent here.

"Do you like it?" The girl asked as she spun to face him finally, a grin wide on her features. She hardly waited for his approval before she moved to look at herself in the mirror. From sleep, her hair stuck up in almost every direction. It made her look entirely odd with the elegant gown and mussed hair. She went to her bag then, fishing out her makeup bag and her hair brush. "I'll be back in a few minutes," She promised him before she disappeared into that bathroom, content to make herself look more presentable. If he needed a distraction and a beautiful face, then Edie was entirely willing to provide him with that.

It was several minutes before she reemerged, this time her hair falling carefully down over one shoulder and her makeup done exquisitely. With dark eyes and red lips, she would certainly be able to grab anyone's attention in her get up. It was only then did she return to the black box on the bed, bringing it over to her Alpha. She held it out to him. "Do the honors?" She asked, turning to move her hair out of the way so that he might fasten it around her neck. As he did so, she pondered the question of the cameras once more. What if the cameras gave way to the illusions that he was providing them, then what? An idea seemed to pop into her head all at once, going over to the cell phone she'd abandoned on the bed. "Get your cards," She instructed, flipping that phone to the camera as she held it out to him. "Let's test your power on them. If we're going to do this, I'd at least like to know what the cameras would see."
