West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I've forgotten how it felt before...

Things seem stilted and forced but I think it likely because so many sets of eyes are upon us. Weighing, judging, finding me left wanting. I know some of them have to remember me from before when I sold my products on the Ark often but that didn't dissuade them from their suspicions now. I suppose it was to be expected and I felt no ounce of blame for it. Wasn't I the same now? Suspicious of all, driven to find answers and end the daily torment that bothered me. The question: Who Did It? I am still unsure of what they are suspicious of but for now I focus on Tobias as he inhales the cookie I brought him, feeling a small ounce of concern that he might choke on it. My eyes flick to Raven to see the woman watching him with the alertness of one who cares deeply for another. Mates, then, judging by the way Tobias leans into her. My curiosity is piqued for I had always wondered what it meant emotionally for Shifters to select a mate. Was it the same as humans, as witches?

An amused smile is given when he suddenly comes to a stop before thrusting the rest of the cookie at Raven who wraps it up dutifully. The smile slips into a face of wariness and concern as he huffs at me, shaking his head. My moss green eyes jump from him to Raven as if searching for an answer. I knew they didn't like Frost but...

The answer is quick in coming. Frost make Tetra dead. My eyes fly wide and I make a small noise of surprise. No WONDER. It explained everything perfectly. The mood on the Ark and Tobias's appearance. The way they all deferred to the leopard now who, I guessed, had taken up the mantle as Alpha. I turn my gaze to Raven as she speaks, nodding slightly. "Yes," I say in a half whisper, "One day I certainly hope he does." I hadn't known Tetradore that well, just the same as Tobias, but it felt as if the world was changing around me. All the familiars were being replaced with something new and each time brought on by tragedy.

Silently I follow them to the upper levels, musing on this news. Sacrosanct was at once familiar and foreign, it's streets the same but a bit less safe than before. I sit down at the table almost tenderly, still unsure about what to think of everything until Tobias speaks to me. "A bit of both, Tobias," I say calmly, my forearms on the table and one hand tapping on it thoughtfully. "I have been gone for many monthes and wanted to see how things were here. I am sorry for your loss." I add it with gentle inflection, my own loss mirrored in the words. I knew how they felt, too true. "I've opened a shop finally on the east side of the city but I wondered if you might allow me to come once a week to sell some product here. You would, of course, get your cut."
