West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She had never met the WereTiger so of course she was shocked when one suddenly walked into the room, eyes widening as she shifted her weight back, her muscles tightening instinctively as she watched the large animal pad in as naturally as if it were her den. She could smell faint pack smells on her, the same of Raven and Tobias but it was faded, very much so. Had she been away for a while? She didn't seem at all surprised that Tetradore was here so either she knew he was back from the dead or she never knew he was dead at all. Alexis wondered which one it was but also, she was very curious of such a large beast in general, having only seen the Were's that she already knew. The biggest she'd ever seen before the tiger was of course, Tetradore and his sister, Nadya, the panthers. Of course Raven herself could get bigger as one of her abilities and Alexis had seen that on display a few times but as a naturally big predator, the tiger was by far the biggest she'd ever seen.

The tiger looked everyone over before walking over to Tetradore where she rubbed her head against him like a house cat greeting their beloved owner then she looked back up at him with a question in her eyes. Of course Alexis couldn't read her thoughts to know what she was saying to him but she knew from her expression somehow that she was asking something, probably wondering why everyone was assembled or something. Her attention returned to Tobias then and the exchange happening between the new alpha of the pack and the returning alpha. Their brotherhood, it would seem, was untarnished. Tetradore reached out to ruffle Tobias' hair with affection before assuring him that he did bring him back a present. He gave Tobias what looked like a schedule or whatever it was they called it, that paper thing that people marked off days and plans and stuff. Alexis had never really understood it but she knew Alexander liked to keep one in the office at the cafe, something about keeping up with payroll and who wants days off and such. Of course, she never asked for a day off and looked forward to any time she got to spend at the cafe so she didn't get why anyone would ask for a day off anyway.

Tetradore suddenly looked up at Raven with an expectant look as if she'd said something. Alexis could only assume she had asked him in her mind or something because he gave her an answer and then told everyone that there was no pack bond because Tobias was still alpha. Her gaze went expectantly to the leopard, wondering what must be going through his mind. Would he want to retain his spot as alpha or would he want his best friend back so much that he would willingly submit to him and give him back command? Alexis didn't see why he wouldn't unless he just didn't like the whole submitting thing. She knew some men had a thing with their pride or whatever. She didn't really get it. If it came down to safety and a place to call home, she would always rather submit to someone she knew she could trust rather than hold out because of something so petty as pride. She had her own, for sure, but she was a survivor first. She looked up at Tetradore, one brow rising in surprise when he told her that he had a present for her. She scowled at him in puzzlement. Why would he give her anything? He didn't owe her anything as far as she was concerned. He had done hr a huge favor by giving her sanctary here on the Ark when he couldn't trust her. She slowly stepped closer as he had gestured, watching his show of affection to the tiger beside him before his gaze moved over everyone. She wondered what was going to happen next.

Her gaze returned once more to Tobias, wondering what he was making of everything but he seemed absorbed almost entirely in the car calender Tetradore had given him, his eyes wide with wonder as he turned the pages and traced the pictures with his fingers. It was adorable in a way. He look up only when Raven and Tetradore spoke to each other, looking between them before he asked if Tetradore wanted to be alpha again. Somehow the words felt weighted as if he meant more than just a simple yes or no question. Alexis wondered what it meant but she hadn't been around the pack enough to know of their history when Tetradore was alpha. Her gaze shifted back to Tobias when he said her name, or rather the nickname he had given her on the very first day they had met in Sacrosanct when she was in her fox form, Pretty. He still refused to call her anything else but she had learned to adapt and she would turn her head to it now anytime he said it. She looked expectantly at him now and her lips tugged into a smile as she nodded.

"Yep, he sure did. You were right."

She knew some guys liked to have their egos stroked and somehow she was sure that Tobias wanted someone to tell him that he had been right all along, that Tetradore was always going to come back. At least in this instance, it would seem he was indeed correct so why not make him feel a little better about it? She noted the scowl on Tobias' face when Tetradore said he had a gift for her but luckily he didn't throw a full tantrum over it. Instead he reached out to pet the tiger as Tetradore had done and then told Raven to lick Tetradore's hand, as if that would make it all okay again. He gaze shifted to Raven now, wondering how her friend would take that. Of course Tobias had a one track mind most of the time from what Alexis could see and it would seem this time would be no different. He turned his gaze back to Tetradore, asking if there were more gifts for him and she couldn't help the small smirk tugging at her lips. At least it helped to lighten the tension in the room. Meanwhile every time she looked at Raven, her heart ached for her best friend. Her eyes were filled with turmoil and it tugged at Alexis' heart to see her so torn.

It was like she wanted to believe so badly that Tetradore was really back but some part of her just couldn't accept it. Alexis was sure in time she would come to see it was him but maybe she just couldn't come to terms with it right now. Alexis wanted so badly to go to her and just be there, to show her that she wasn't alone, that she wasn't the outsider looking in on a happy reunion. She hated seeing her friend so upset. Raven started wringing her hands and then told Tetradore that he was the best alpha she'd ever had but that she had a hard time trusting others. Alexis could only assume that this was her way of telling him that she was just having a hard time trusting that it was really him. When her gaze met Raven's, she returned the small simper, her eyes trying to convey to her that she was here for her, no matter what. When Tobias told Raven to lick Tetradore's hand though, Alexis wasn't surprised that Raven shook her head and said that she didn't think Tetradore wanted her to. She knew that just wasn't Raven's thing.

When she looked back at her friend, she was heart broken to see that Raven was now looking down and wringing her hands again but there were silent tears dripping down her cheeks. Alexis bit her bottom lip, wishing she knew what to do, how to help. She listened as Raven said that she wanted to believe that he was back, that he was always going to come back but that no one comes back from the dead. Then she said that if it was him, that she had failed him and she was sorry. Alexis' brows raised and her eyes widened. Sorry for what? Did she blame herself for Tetradore's death? Of course she would. That's what Raven did. She always found a way to blame herself. Alexis turned her gaze to Tobias and Tetradore expectantly, almost willing one or both of them to do something, anything to make Raven feel better. She hated seeing her feel this way.
