The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He was so quiet beside her so she pretended to be mesmerized by the lights overhead. True, they were quite a sight but they could never override the electricity buzzing between her and the man at her side. She couldn't get away from feeling his touch, each of his fingers pressed between hers a constant reminder of other places they had been. Even if he weren't touching her, she would still feel the tingle of his close proximity. She could never stop thinking about him, no matter the distance between them. She had been thinking about them ever since that night in his loft. Even while she was away, she couldn't get him out of her head. He was an addiction, something she would never forget, COULD never forget. She didn't want to be just friends or co-workers. She knew that now. She could never look at him as just a friend. She wanted more, needed more. She had offered him a chance to reject her the day she came back into his life and asked if he'd moved on. When he said he hadn't, it had brought all the feelings back to life at a startling rate.
Now she couldn't stop them and she didn't want to. As he asked that tantalizing question of dating, she knew what her answer would be, even as her breath stopped for a minute. When she told him yes, that simper drove her breath from her chest once more but she laughed as he pulled her to the grass with him, all too content to be anywhere, as long as it was with him. As his fingers traced her features, she closed her eyes, leaning into his touch. As his lips met hers, she melted into it, returning his kiss hungrily. She smiled against his lips as he pulled her onto his chest, her hands running through his hair as she gazed adoringly down at him. It was so unlike him to be this intimate and yet, she was loving every minute of it. She returned every one of the kisses he afforded her, her breath getting harsh with every kiss as her body came to life. She didn't even think to look up anymore. Her world was quickly narrowing down to the man who lie beneath her.
As he reached up to tuck her hair behind her ear, she sighed and leaned into his hand. His remark made her brow lift as her head tilted, eyes gleaming teasingly.
"And how do you suppose we do that? The bed suddenly seems so far away...whereas the grass is soft and so much closer."
She let her hand reach out to caress the ground as if to show off its softness, her lips curling into a coy smirk as she waited to see his reaction.
