West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Whatever humanity might have existed within the spotted cat was all but lost in those final few moments as Raven was kicked across the arena and Tobias lunged for the foreleg of the rampaging Moose in an effort to both punish it for its kick and to attempt to bring that animal down- performing the role he so often did for Tetradore in aiming to attack its legs, leaving that man charge open for the other man, a role he had so seemingly passed to Raven now as the heavy animal bucked and swerved. The feline was jarred and jolted with every step, one hind hoof flung forward to collide painfully with his ribs and yet whether through tenacity, will or simple foolishness that jungle cat simply remained as he was, teeth biting desperately into that flesh. His ravaged mind fixated upon one task alone until self-preservation hardly seemed to exist for the gangly boy. It was this, surely, that had made him so famed within that ring, that animalistic grit that simply saw him throw himself at an opponent over and over in often entirely reckless charges that so often worked if only for the ferocity of the leopard and his utter disregard for his own safety. The boy seeming to bounce back over and over no matter how many strikes were flung against him. Tobias so often content be that veritable living shield for his companions. The utter devastation of his assault so often simply overwhelming those he fought against. That perceived insanity only further highlighted in those moments as he struggled for grip, claws tearing at flesh and sinew until the roar from his mate echoed across that ring.

He was aware of the charge of the wolf, Raven flinging herself at the neck of the giant deer (Tobias sure it was a deer) the boy so understanding such a gesture from those hunts, his own savagery only further increased by that attempt to kill, that taste of blood so wetting his lips and pressing at those predatory instincts as the Moose finally began to fall, it's head flailing as it stumbled, Tobias' shoulder slammed once more as he leapt from the animal as it fell to it's knees, the leopard backing away now as he had been taught to do. Those lessons it seemed, almost as deeply ingrained as those instincts. Growls rolled from within his chest and throat as he loped, circling the Moose that Raven tore at still until Jackal and that crowd begun to yell, that low call for his mate reverberating through his lips to summon her back to his side as that moose finally stumbled away and the roar of that crowd went up, Tobias' tail lashing in response to that roaring sound and the adrenaline that still danced within his system. The Jungle cat entirely alert in every sense of the word as his mate's head slammed into his own in that feline greeting, a purr of satisfaction stirring within him as his own head pressed back, jaws parting to let his tongue sweep across her fur in a gesture of affection before all those hundreds of people. Tobias hardly caring that the all the Ark might see. The boys ability for modesty in any sense entirely diminished. His feline nature simply taking over in those moments, the boy determined to 'clean' Raven's fur before he words pressed into his mind.

His cleaning continued for several moments still, whether or not he had heard her remaining to be seen before a huff seemed to part his lips, tail brushing against her to lead her from that ring and through the cheering crowd. His shoulder and side readily ached and yet he had learned so young not to allow those injuries to be seen, the feline walking determinedly towards those stairs that led upward and to their own rooms, that limp to one side becoming clearer now and yet it only seemed to aggravate the boy more. Tobias incapable of understanding that damage to muscle and sinew, the boy scowling in irritation at his injured limb, pressing it only more firmly to the ground before hissing decisively at it. His fractured thoughts content to blame the limb itself for not behaving as he had learned it should as he threw his shoulder against the door to their bedroom. That shift overcame him within moments. The golden cat replaced with the gangly man, Tobias so mercifully having shifted with his jeans alone in place. One hand reached upward, running through those dark locks, pushing them out of his equally dark eyes before running his hand across his bloodied lips, his tongue brushing briefly against those blood smears in turn. Moose was prey, after all, the taste of the blood appealing to him still even within his human form, that animalistic side hardly having managed to shut down as it so often did with most as is attention returned to the wolf.

"Change to.....other Birdie."

That he desired her to be in human form was entirely clear, Tobias pushing himself up and onto his bare feet at last now, satisfied with his bizarre efforts to clean that blood from himself, his right shoulder rapidly becoming discoloured from the bruise upon it and yet the man hardly seemed to respond to it at all, his gaze remaining upon his companion entirely, features tilted slightly in some effort to understand that confliction of emotion within her. That anger that had come from him before had lessened and yet he could hardly scent fear upon her any longer. A part of the boy so distinctly drawn to the dominance she had showed, the cat so enjoying her power in those moments. After all, nature demanded it off him, demanded he find himself drawn to a powerful mate, Tobias so seemingly all the more attracted to his mate in those moments. No sooner had that change overcome her then the boy reached easily forward, long fingers hooking within her jeans to tug her forward and against him- his lips readily finding her own with that purr of satisfaction, that energy and adrenaline still rapidly coursing through him and yet so suddenly channelled in a different way entirely.
