West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

It bothered Nadya greatly that Tobias said he was going to be punished, more specifically struck for coming out, although it wasn't like she was that gentle towards him either; she just didn't like someone else hitting him. However, she still felt getting caught was partly his own fault for not listening to her and causing such a scene while they were in Syn. Nadya was almost always bickering with Tobias when left alone, only dwindling when Tetra was around and in the company of others because they diverted his attention, though tonight she felt an itch to readily combat with him. The usual heat of irritation at him building just beneath the surface along with that touch of magic in readiness to offset that harm to the pack bond that fighting can bring. It was an upsetting thing, the more she became irritated or if she tried to push Tobias away to distance herself the more her own power acted on autopilot with an intensity she couldn't control.

It was for everyone's benefit that Raven's shouts of pain broke hers and Tobi's attention from bickering at each other to focus on the woman. Raven's sudden shift caused Nadya to step back cautiously, watching as her skin changed to thick coat with the long delicate muzzle of the canine species. Her size though, peculiarly small even for a female, much smaller than she remembered from the full moon, had Nadya blinking in surprise as any grip of fear which had been creeping up on her vanished. There Raven stood in all her canine glory but looking more like a miniature husky dog than a wolf. "Is that...supposed to happen?" She raised a brow, completely forgetting about everything she wanted to fight with Tobi about in that moment, to examine the strange phenomenon in front of her. Though just because Raven was smaller didn't mean she was that much more comfortable with being touch by her. Nadya's whole body stiffened when Raven crept close, the miniature wolf's cold nose gliding along her heated flesh where the stitches still held if only barely.

A brief moment of distraction was all it took for Tobias to seize the moment to go what Nadya liked to call "completely insane" again. It was a good thing she hadn't moved from where she sat on the ground for she surely would have smacked her head much harder than the controlled fall she was able to turn it into. Tobias' weight in his feline form wasn't much better than his human weight, all muscle and unrelenting, but was far less comforting. "Tobi, no!! I didn't mean it!" Nadya's protest turned to an instant shout of pain as the sandpaper textured tongue grated across the reddened skin and stitches that then disappeared leaving Nadya to guess that the line for absorbing her pain was still present for Raven even in her world form. A felines tongue was nothing more than miniature hooks like in Velcro so it was no surprise that it tore free a stitch from her flesh. Even though Nadya experienced the initial shock of pain, once it was absorbed it left her mind clear to fight off Tobi, her open hand smacking upside his feline's skull. "Get.off!"

Tobias' quick shift back into his human form allowed Nadya the chance to finally get to her feet, his new rough handling and ripping a stitch out rekindling and adding fuel to her earlier urge to fight him. The familiar coil in the pit of her stomach started, fire in her veins begging her to shift and rip at his flesh with her claws. Nadya had to hold her breath to keep from allowing the shift to take over, glaring at him and smacking his hand away from her all the same when he held the torn stitch out to her. "You broke it. We told you to be careful. You can't be so rough all the time!" Her anger to him twisted her features into slight disgust as his ADD kicked in, now man-handling Raven and sticking the canine in Nadya's face, the smell of dog invading her nose. "Stop that, put her down. I didn't do anything to her. Why do you always have to be so weird???" A grumble escaped Nadya, a humanoid growl, as she quickly grappled Raven from Tobias and set her down on the ground. In that form Nadya couldn't communicate to Raven to ask if she was ok but seeing as Nadya's pain was still only a rawness to her skin she figured that was an obvious answer of no. Again she lashed out at Tobias, smacking him firmly on his chest though it didn't hold near the ferocity as any of their other fights, "You can't just go grabbing people."
